I just can't fathom how those of her supporters don't see the problem with her actions, does anyone offer them other possibilities like someone denying a divorce on religious grounds, how about not being able to pay for pork or alcohol products because your cash register employee is Muslim.

Do they support this as well?

I mean outside of the obvious, this is a government job and the constitution is so clear on this issue.

Because when you're constantly fed the line that you're being persecuted, you believe it when you get prosecuted

I read that she was a recent convert to fundamentalist Christianity, and a registered Democrat.

Anyway, the Christian thing to do is as other posters have stated. Resign.

You'd think. Same with the little moron in Calgary who won't drive the rainbow bus. Just leave already.

This seems like such an obvious case of someone using the gullibility (and homophobia) of Evangelicals to get them to give up money to "support" her, when she's likely to simply pocket all the cash. Regardless it's a nightmare for Republicans to once again be trying to use social issues in this election. They seem destined to hand another easy win to the Democrats.

I read the best comment on FB about that story. Of course, everyone is entitled to their opinion and religion.

However, if a Muslim bus driver refused to drive a bus with an Alberta Pig Farmers ad, his company would simply accommodate him. More than likely though, the guy would just drive the bus. No one is forcing him to eat pork, so why not drive the bus? Why the media circus around this Christian driver?

As another poster said; likely looking for "support" so they can pocket the cash.

I should make a big ####-storm around some social cause and become an overnight millionaire. I should claim someone is threatening to take my guns so I need donations to buy such a huge arsenal, no one would think of taking my guns! I am so smart!

I thought about the pork analogy as well. If Calgary Transit forced you to eat pork sandwich before driving the pork ad bus, you'd have a point. Kind of like if Calgary transit forced you to ___ before driving the rainbow bus. I listened to the poor dummy get interviewed on the radio and he admitted that he wouldn't care if it were any other sort of ad, like atheists, abortion, divorce lawyers, Ashley Madison....it was just the gay thing. Such weird phobia when it comes to Christians and homosexuality. Huckabee and Cruz, give your damn heads a shake.

These clowns don't even care about Kim Davis either, they just want the political brownie points.

Hmm he'd rather see pro-abortion ads than drive a rainbow bus? Misplaced priorities much? Holy cow.

Trump in Rolling Stone says this:

"Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president. I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not s'posedta say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"

He said this about Carla Fiorina who is also running for the GOP nomination.

I was thinking the same thing. Lots of people make fun of Trump's looks, but none of them are running for President. And no one is saying he shouldn't be President because of his looks. There are plenty of other (scarier) reasons he shouldn't be.

Trumps hair is s celebrity in and of itself and has been for years. There is a big difference in people telling a joke about said hair, along with their own hair that has been talked about extensively in the media for years, and someone calling another candidate too ugly to run for president. They aren't even in the same ballpark. It's also simply another example of the dismissive and misogynistic attitude trump has when it comes to women.

This is the best part:

But Trump said on CNN's "New Day" Thursday morning that he was talking about Fiorina's persona, not her physical traits.
What absolute contempt for the intelligence of the audience. It's "blood coming out of her... wherever" again. "I meant her nose!" We're not f***ing idiots, Donald, we know what you meant. It's not particularly cryptic. "Look at that face" is even more obvious. By denying this stuff, he appears to be saying, "I'm only really interested in the votes of people who are too unfathomably stupid to understand me when I say something directly".

Is there any doubt Trump is going to use a racist euphemism to describe Ben Carson at some point? And this was in a controlled interview environment, not a live TV interview. He clearly feels he can say anything and is invincible. And he certainly is...until the general, where 50-60% of the population will never vote for him. He mostly underscores the desperate need to curtail the process to 6 months at most. We're still 6 months away from this race actually being meaningful.

There might be enough of those folks in the general population to win the presidency actually.

My sentiments exactly! The campaign length is ridiculous.

The funny/scary thing about Trump is who this is going to bring out of the woodwork next year. Its got to be 50/50 that Vince McMahon is looking at a run in 2020.
