Holland just got Dutch Ovened by the Young Turks, the Netherlands is in disarray indeed.

They've got to jettison Sneijder and van Persie, those guys are just past it now, at least when hes healthy Robben is still lethal.

Belgium rescues it at the death.

Huge, huge result for Norway. Croatia have really dropped the ball.

Thats a rough way for Scotland to go down early. I dont know who takes that, Muller or Gotze, looks like it deflected off of Gotze.

What the hell happened to Scotland? They never had a ton of talent but they were organized and worked hard and were an intelligent, well-drilled team, this looks like 1990s Scotland.

And I really liked that Anya guy, they should play him.

And Poland are just pumping goals past Gibraltar.

That equalizer seems fittingly karmic.

What is the point of the referee standing right next to the goal? I mean, that ball is clearly in, crossed the line by a mile, and that guy does absolutely nothing. At least the ref called it a goal, but what the hell was that guy doing?

Those two goal judges are the dumbest thing in sports.

Watching Emre Can playing for Germany is surreal. He is clearly the worst player on the field and I'm including Allan Hutton in that.

Portugal beat Albania and Denmark drew in Armenia. Denmark are going nowhere and only have one match left against in Portugal.

If Denmark loses in Portugal, Albania only need 2 points in their final two matches to make their first ever tournament.

####ing brutal Croatia. Absolutely a brutal 2-match skid.

High profile players like Mandzukic, Rakitic, Modric, Kovacic and to a lesser extent Olic and others who play in top leagues can't beat Azerbaijan and Norway? F.F.S.

It pisses me off that the Croatian FA is too cheap to hire a proper manager. Gosh, phone some Spanish or Dutch coach looking for work and give him a blank check. It's a shame to waste this generation of talent on piss-poor manager, Niko Kovac.

I love Kovac - heck of a player. Maybe one day a heck of a coach too, but right now he's got no experience, and it showed at the WC and it's showing now.

Jeezus, I was planning a vacation around France 2016 thinking Cro was a shoe-in. Not so much anymore. ####

I'll primarily be watching Sweden vs. Austria but I'll tune in the England match occasionally I'm sure.
