Would be glorious to watch them miss though. I'm really excited for Iceland. I love Iceland.

Pissed about Croatia. Really muddied the waters with that stinker. That could have been them pulling ahead finally, but now basically the group is up for grabs and this Norway match will be critical.

Georgia doing Ireland, Germany and Poland some favours being up 1-0 over Scotland at the moment.

This group is tight, I'm hoping a Georgian win and a German win will create a bit of a gap.

Wow. And I've actually been kind of pulling for Scotland.

That is a huge blow after all the great games they've played against bigger teams they go and blow it against Georgia.

Wow. I'm actually a little concerned.

Jonas Hector in on defence, and Emre Can and Karim Bellarabi in the midfield.

Not Germany's strongest team.

And of course Hector and Bellarabi assist on Muller's opening goal.

Just to make me look like an ass.

But its been last-ditch, desperate defending ever since.

Gotze seals the deal.

Hes just another one of those Germans that just crushes it for the National team.

United fans must have watching with their hearts in their throats because while Schweinsteiger was exceptional in this match he threw about 3 bone-crunching tackles that he usually suffers for later.

Ah I'm happy with how poland played. Have to take in consideration that its the world cup winning team with a pretty full roster. Lewa was beastly. I like our chances still with Scotland losing.

8 points gained vs. lost seals it against Ireland, and 7 points for Scotland (although 6 realistically, since their goal difference won't touch ours now). 3 of those points to easily come on Monday, and Ireland still have Germany to go. I hope it doesn't come down to the last game between the two. After we beat Gibraltar, if we beat Scotland, it's virtually over.

Thanks to James Sharman for breathing some perspective into England's perfect qualifying record.

Yes they're 7-0, but it's a pathetically easy group.
