Donnie Yen is the best. It's a shame he hasn't much exposure in Western Cinema since he was raised and educated in Boston and so unlike many Chinese actors, has naturally perfect english which would translate well.
He always seems to die in his western roles like in Hero, Shanghai Knights 2, Blade II, Highlander: Endgame etc. I think the only role he hasn't died in was his starring vehicle in the wholly awesome Iron Monkey. This guy was personally chosen by Jet Li to be his opponent in Wong Fei Hung 2 as well as Hero, and can totally keep up with him.
I watched a bit of this on the weekend and i couldn't watch more than 20 minutes of it. it is pure crap. But any movie with a chinese guy with dyed blonde hair can't be good. haha.
I read the comics before which were awesome. With characters called Dude Chan, Skeleton Secretary and Incredible Chap how can you go wrong. hehe. Heart demoloshing shovel, the chan family:shoulder separator and dragon in 9th heaven were my favorite moves.
I'm all for donnie Yen... but Nicholas Tse!!! WTF.. wrong role dude... I don't really like the guy... he should stick to singing (not that he's all THAT good)
Don't know anything about this movie, except it probably has the worst name for a movie I have seen in a long time...
hahaha. well it's better than the straight translation.
