Yeah, I realize it's doubtful, but BC and Winnipeg don't exactly look like world-beaters these days either. If they do sweep these next three games though, then I would say the playoff door is definitely open a crack.

I'm kind of excited about the Riders/Bombers labour day matchup. When two totally inept teams face off it usually leads to fireworks. The interception and sack count could be off the charts as between Marve, Brohm, Smith, and Suneri you can argue this game will feature the worst caliber of dressed quarterbacks in the history of professional football.

I know people like to take shots at the CFL for this, but for many years 16 out of 21 made the playoffs in the NHL.
That said, Saskatchewan will not make the playoffs because they are no good.
