Default Best low cost purchases you now can't live without

Where did you guys get the double breakfast maker? I see Canadian tire only has the single.

Thanks in advance!

So are CDs... I mean... actual, physical CDs. Nowadays, if you are willing to spend the 30 minutes ripping them, you can get the entire Beatles catalogue for about 1/4 of the price that you would spend for it on itunes.

For golfing I have Clicgear push cart for walking the course. It folds down quickly into a compact cube and fits nicely into a trunk or the backend on a SUV. Best cart I have ever owned.

I'll take that another level for you. In the master bedroom's water closet we installed this switch:

The other bathrooms have this replacing the regular GFCI lights:
http://www.lowes.com/pd_295027-1571-1595NTLTRWCC4___

The purpose of the above is to allow you to use the washroom at night without turning on fully bright lights.

And then all bathrooms have this switch for the exhaust fan:
http://www.homedepot.ca/product/deco...n-white/813578

That last one is a "can't do without" for me now. When we were renting while waiting for our house to be built, I really missed them. You never have to consider if you should turn on the exhaust fan; for example if you are leaving the house or going to bed. It turns off for you.

So funny. Got mine (double) at London Drugs for $40 after seeing the first post. Awesome hangover food and the simplest thing to operate. Cleans up easy and has a smaller foot print than I thought it would. Found the sweet spot at 4 1/2 minutes. Awesome machine.

For the value you get it is.

It's only about $2 per day, and ppl probably spend at least 2 hours a day on the internet.

No other form of entertainment that provides so many options is that cheap.

They are not exactly cheap but I have switched over to lifx lightbulbs. I love being able to set them up to gradually turn on in the am. I hate shocking the heck out of my eyes. Or switching them to emit red light at night is great.

Not just entertainment either. A vast collection of pretty much all of humanity's knowledge.

It truly is the greatest thing we've ever created, and we barely understand how it can change us.

Jailbroken Android Minix6 from kijiji - $200
-Every movie and tv show I can think of, all you need is an internet connection.

1/4 of a cow, various cuts (steaks, ground beef, roasts etc..) - $600
- not 'cheap' but roughly half the price you'd pay in store and better quality beef, just need a frezer to store it all

These Under Armour Core Shorts are about $60-80 but they've saved me from constantly pulling groins/hips etc... when playing hockey. That's a tiny amount compared to the time/money spent in physio or whatever:

At this point I'm wary of even getting on the ice without wearing them.
