The guy's associated with Street Church. So best not to give them the attention they seek.

Ahh it suddenly makes sense. Could you pass the same note along to your media friends? They seem to have giving him attention.

Ridiculous, he is driving a bus, not supporting/condoning anything.
At least if he gets fired, a few prayers and god will take care of him. Nothing to worry about.

I noticed this at Northland Mall today, which mentions a proposed C-Train station at the mall in the redevelopment plans that are posted.
This is the first I've heard of it, and I wonder if it's more wishful thinking by the developers or something that's been back-shelved for some time now?
I grew up around there, and the huge distance between Dalhousie and Brentwood seemed odd to me, how they just skipped over Northland.
Anyone know more on this?

Apparently there's been some discussion at a high level for some time, but it appears things became more formal and concrete earlier this summer. Nothing close to final by the looks of it, certainly not as far as tying a train station into it.
http://www.660news.com/2015/06/26/de...-village-mall/
Here's a website with some broad statements about the redevelopment, which is supposedly being done by Ledcor for Primaris REIT. But Primaris was also bought by H&R REIT in 2013, so I don't know if that's changed, slowed, or accelerated plans.

And he probably hasn't been opposed to the condom adds in all the buses. Christians need to just give up on this one.

Bus driver doesn't want to drive a bus with ribbons on it? Fire his ass!
Bus drivers are paid a wage similar to nurses and with experience, more than nurses. LRT Drivers and supervisors way more pay too. This is unskilled work. You do not go to school to become a bus driver, you are trained on the job and make a wage 30 - 40 percent more than the industry standard. Anyone can apply!
Can a nurse refuse to treat some one that is homosexual? I am a cnc machinist/programmer, I went to school and make a good wage with years and years of experience. I make almost as much as a bus driver! Funny thing is last year at work we had a job for over $500,000 to make two massive steel ribbons. We did not know what it was for. If we did know would it even matter? Refusal to work on this project would be grounds for immediate dismissal.
Why don't I become a bus driver if I am so upset about their wage? Oh I am trying to get a job with the city. As a machinist, 30 - 40 percent higher wage than industry standards, glorious benefits, and a pension to boot during a massive recession! So I don't blame city workers for the wages they make, I want my share too. It is still wrong.
Yet I must ask since when do we give two ####s about what a bus driver thinks? Fire his ass and be done with it!
I mean what happens if transit hires Usama Bin Laden ( we are told he is dead ), wouldn't driving a bus being promoting North American industry and our way of life? It would be against his religious beliefs would it not?
So what does transit do? Pay him full wage as he does no work?
I need to create my own religion! The Anti Work Religion! Sorry boss I cant do that, it sounds like that might be work and its against my religion! Who wants to join my church? What Holidays do we have? Everyday is a holiday! I would also like to incorporate the Anti Layoff Religion, and the Anti Firing Religion into my church! So when I refuse to work the boss tries to fire me and I say "Sorry, you cant fire me, its against my religion".
Sorry to offend so many. Your religion means nothing to me. You absolutely have a right to your religion, at home, and in public. At work you are hired to do a job. I could care less if what you do offends you or your religion. Don't like it quit!

Does the bus driver not drive the bus when there's advertisements for Cowboys Casino or any other sort of "risque"/sinful advertisement? What a bigot, hypocrite, and homophobe.

Personally, I think they should give him a bus promoting shellfish, tattoos, and beard trimmers, and see if he even gets it.

Those are all other things prohibited in Leviticus (which is the book that contains the passage used to justify homophobia).

Looks like Calgary Transit will sue Schneider Electric for $5mil over the failed Connect Cards project.
http://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/calgar...card-1.3238905
Quote:
Finally, in June, the city announced it was scrapping the project altogether, as the system simply would not work properly in Calgary. Transit director Doug Morgan said negotiations with Schneider Electric to recover $5 million the city figures it is now owed by the company have been unsuccessful — so a lawsuit is expected to be filed soon.
