A guy like Austin Carroll would likely have a higher Aggression rating if they were doing this like the Penticton Tournament against other teams, like Smith running over Kesey last year.

Nothing much, but the repeated accuracy of the passes were better with Bennett. He wouldn't miss your stick and did make a few very good passes. Janko wasn't far off though. Both are very creative players. Bennett's better though.

Yeah.

Tyson Baillie
Jason Fram
Mason Marchment
Juline Proulx
Nick Schneider
Tomas Soustal

Some/most of those guys might just be extra bodies for Penticton though. Wouldn't be surprised to see most of them released shortly after Penticton ends.

Flames have also signed Taylor Burke to a try out

6'1'' C/RW 21 years old shoots Right. Was at Canadiens development camp in July and attended Kings main camp in 2014.

Former teammate of Poirier's (played together in Gatineau for 3 seasons).

Burke was a highly thought of player before going into the QMJHL. Some early lists projected him going 1st OA in the 2010 QMJHL draft (ended up going 7th). Obviously didn't live up to that potential.

Has leadership qualities. Wore the C for Gatineau for 2 seasons, wore an A after getting traded to the Remparts and then wore the C for Moncton.


So up to 8 undrafted guys and Eric Roy coming to camp:

C/RW Tyson Baillie
D Jason Fram
LW Mason Marchment
LW/D Juline Proulx
G Nick Schneider
CTomas Soustal
D Jason Bell
C/RW Taylor Burke

It is excellent stuff.
Also, when one looks back to last year, CG was on the money in his assessment/ratings. That's the real test of anyone's scouting reports.

If I recall correctly from last year, the first day of on ice training for the camp was the day after the U of C Dino's game. That would mean the 17th then.

Not sure if that's the case this year. Not sure when they start skating at winsport. All I know is I'll be there.
