I think the international feeds are run by the ATP and WTA themselves, so you'd think they would want some good production values, which they do have. That they don't even have Genie's match anywhere is kinda weak but she wins in two breakers and advances. She gets Svitolina next so maybe she can get her Putin on and try and take out another Ukrainian.

So did I but that's kinda the point, couldn't Sportnet find a way to get it on? Maybe they should do that, just show a laptop of an illegal stream.

It's all contracts I think. Sportsnet probably bought the ATP rights in Cincy but not the WTA except maybe the final only.

bouchard match has started but because of all the rain, it got moved to a non-tv court.

Sportsnet ‏@Sportsnet PROGRAMMING ALERT: Due to earlier rain delays, Sportsnet is unable to air the Bouchard-Svitolina match. We apologize for any inconvenience.

She loses the first set in a breaker, had a set point on serve but no first serve to be found. Still the weakest part of her game.

7-6 (6), 7-5 loss but the last two days if nothing else have to be encouraging because she showed a lot more fight than she has in a while. Was down 5-3 in the 2nd but saved a match point and kept fighting back from breaks. If nothing else better on court vibes going forward.

Crazy match between Murray and Dimitrov. Dimitrov served for the match twice (once in 2nd and once in 3rd set) and choked. Then he got a match point on Murray's serve and hit if 10 feet long.

5-5 in the 3rd now. SN1

Dolgopolov is outplaying Djokovic pretty handily in their semi-final. He's broken Djokovic three times in less than two sets.

And for added comedy, a couple idiots in the crowd wont shut up. The chair umpire just literally told them that "people came to watch tennis, not to listen to you." I'm surprised that if the umpire is having to say that that security hasn't ejected them yet.

Joker was prime for the picking today, but Dolgopolov faded badly in the third and deciding set. Murray and Feds coming up shortly.

Dolgopolov was done when he blew the second set tiebreak. Up 3-0, and then up 5-4 on serve, only to lose the next three points.

The new Federer rush the service line on the second serve technique is absurd and amazing and he seems to nail it often, forcing either a difficult pass or an easy smash. He said he started doing it as a joke, but it looks like a new weapon.

just watched the tape of the Cincy final, impressive for Fed to roll through everyone without a single break including #1 and #2, and his new bag of summer tricks was entertaining throughout. his movement right now is equal to or better than it was 10 years ago, if I weren't a fan I might start accusing him of experimenting with "extra-curriculars" this season.

The only negative thing is now everyone's gotten a look at Roger's updated tactics, so the surprise factor won't be there in NYC...unless he invents yet another crazy shot in practice next week.

Well some much for building some confidence going into the US Open, Genie down 1-6, 0-4 to Vinci who had to qualify in Connecticut. Genie might have the worst serve in womens tennis and is without question priority #1 this offseason.
