I should clarify, the right call was made in the replay, but to ask for the replay was not in good taste in my opinion, not after what happened last night, and what is happening today.

I'd say doing a pirouette while base running is Busch league.

Its not. Sliding past the bag would give the runner an unfair advantage cause he can run faster.
Good play by Pillar too getting the ball in and forcing the slide.

Nope, but you cannot trust Mike Scioscia, not in the dugout, not with a wheel barrel full of toxic waste.

They are in a playoff race with the Angels (among others), and this game is far from over
Of course they are going to ask that the play be reviewed
EVERY team would, and it isn't bad sportsmanship
It would be insulting NOT to

If you wanna talk about Busch league/unwritten rule, I'll give you one..stealing a base in a blowout game. This a huge series for the Jays, of course they're doing everything to not only sweep Anaheim but get rid of a team that is on their tail if we're talking strctly about the WC spot.

Baseball teams usually dont get butthurt when blown out. Unless there was showboating, bunting or stealing bases which the Blue Jays did none of.
Take your licks and try again tomorrow

It's about winning. That was big for Dicky to shorten his inning. If they Jays were out of the hunt then sure maybe you let it go but not in this case when every game counts and you can not take any out for granted

I love the fact that the right call can be made on something like that now. Just like phantom tags on stolen base attempts and what not when in the past, as long as the ball arrived before the runner that was "good enough" even if the tag was never applied.
Baseball had too much subjectivity in the past.

That's a joke. That's the rule and good on them for challenging it.

Brett Cecil has been terrific since getting taken out of the closer role. Terrific arm to have against lefties and on close games like this one, as long as he isn't closing games.

I was 3 PBR deep before church this morning, and clearly no one shares my opinion. But the way the Angels have been embarassed this week end, between the scores, the errors they've made, and the walks, I just hope none gets thrown at in the final at bats.

I agree with you 100%. But still seems like they allow the "neighborhood" rule when turning the DP. I suppose they argue it is a safety issue.

Please don't mix hockey etiquette with baseball. There's no room for garbage like that unless you're the 2015 Baltimore Orioles or Kansas City Royals.
Like GirlySports already said, baseball teams don't dwell too much on losses because of the constant daily opportunity to redeem themselves after 24 hours.
