Looks like ESPN issued an apology to the Patriots for falsely reporting that they filmed a Rams practice.https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/blogs/nf...141347869.html
Interesting little tidbit that I thought was mentioned as well but never heard before in all this deflate gate nonsense, was that the league tested four balls used by the colts in that AFC game as well and three of them were below the min. level as well. hmmm

Loved writing about the Eagles and will miss Philly, but can't wait to start at @espn next week covering the Seahawks in Seattle.

That's a huge loss for the Philly media and Eagles fans. Sheil is probably my favourite Eagles beat writer. Hopefully ESPN doesn't neuter him too much. Enjoy, Seahawks fans.

I liked him as well, thought he did a good job.

Wolfe looked like he could've been good, just couldn't stay healthy. Jerome Couplin, who just had an appendectomy, sounds like he might work out down the line.

Might also add that Jordy Nelson left the game with a knee injury as well.

Yup...massive loss for sure if confirmed.
Good news is they have Davante Adams waiting for his chance and someone who looks ready. Also the kid they drafted out of Stanford, Ty Montgomery, has been lights out in camp.

All that being said....you simply don't replace a Jordy Nelson who is a TD machine.

I don't know if its a bad loss, Pouncey can't stay healthy. Seems like he's always injured before or very early in the season.

Ah, you know what, I'm happy for him. Glad he gets to keep playing and leave on his own terms.

Sort of off-topic where is the best place to get NFL jerseys? I'm flying to Indy for the home opener and would prefer not to wear my old raggedy Peyton Manning jersey.

Why not get one at the team store in Indy?

If they're the same price as the ones on NFL.com then it's not really worth it. I know when I was looking at limited jerseys at JC they were $150, same as NFL.com, except NFL.com was in USD.

		| Another venture is slightly less altruistic. Wilson is an investor in Reliant Recovery Water, a $3-per-bottle concoction with nanobubbles and electrolytes that purportedly helps people recover quickly from workouts and, according to Wilson, injury. He mentions a teammate whose knee healed miraculously, and then he shares his own testimonial.
"I banged my head during the Packers game in the playoffs, and the next day I was fine," says Wilson. "It was the water."

Rodgers offers a hasty interjection. "Well, we're not saying we have real medical proof."

But Wilson shakes his head, energized by the subject. He speaks with an evangelist's zeal.

"I know it works." His eyes brighten. "Soon you're going to be able to order it straight from Amazon."

The only issue with that would be our weak dollar. Certain things are certainly way cheaper in the States, but the few times I've attended sporting events down there and poked around the team store, jerseys were sadly basically at par for what they go for up here. Pair that with the exchange rate and you're paying through the nose.

If you're fine with paying extra for the story that you bought it at Lucas Oil Stadium though, it's a cool novelty anyway as a Colts fan. Also you'd probably have a LOT more player jersey options there than just your basic Luck up here.

I'm sure he'll still get some looks around the league. As long as teams aren't scared off by his off field issues, he's certainly a productive player.
