Online Poker Bonus's?
Hey, just curious if anyone who plays Online Poker primarily plays with bonus's all the time, or just plays regularly? I used to play for a few months on sites without bonus's, but once I realized that I could be making so much more, I quickly started searching for bonus's. I was normally just a break-even or slightly better than average player, but with bonus's, I'm doing pretty well now.
Also if people do play with bonus's, any recommendations on what are some of the better ones, or ones that are extremely easy to clear? And for those who don't, why dont you? Do you just primarily find that you are comfortable at one site, and don't like moving around or something?

I'm working on Doyle's Room 110% bonus. It takes forever to clear though. Months of constant playing at lower levels. Higher levels it's easier.

.1/.2 NL, 1/2 Limit, $25-50 Sit n' Go's, and 10-50 MTT. I've been there since June and I'm only half-way. The bonus maxes out at $500. You need 110,000 action points. For every raked dollar you put into the pot you get about 4 action points.

Man, that sounds like a pain to clear.
Dunno if you have the bankroll currently, but you should really give Hollywood Poker a serious look. Its got a sweet initial sign up, like 100% up to $200, or 200% up to $300. The sweet thing is that it clears at either 5x or 7x for the 300 one. I love 5x bonus's, as they are extremely easy to clear, and normally can be done in a week or so if you multi-table. They also have a sweet RAF bonus that you can add onto the bonus that clears at 4x, for $75, so overall a nice deal. Its part of the Ongame Network, and their are in my mind, alot of fish. Its like the new PartyPoker!

Yeah, it's a major pain. Definately not worth it if you are an even player. But I'm not really there anymore for the bonus, it will just be a nice addition. Pretty fishy for cash games and tournaments.
EDIT: I'll have to look into the Hollywood Poker bonus, sounds like a great deal. What do you mean by 5x, 7x etc?

Ah, essentially all bonus's are judged by how easy they are to clear, and how easy they are is what rate they clear at. For instance, if you are given $200 in bonus, a 5x clearance rate would mean you would have to play 5X that many raked hands, so you would have to play 1000 raked hands to clear that bonus. Alot of the sites that pay you large bonus amounts, like $600 +, normally are extremely hard to clear, often at like 12 - 15x rates.

Poker Room/Hollywood bonus is gross. Don't even bother. Playing NL50 there a year and a half ago it took me 80 table hours (20 hours 4-tabling) to get the $100 bonus. Totally unacceptable.
Prima skins used to have the best bonuses. Expekt used to have 50% up to $100 for only 100RH. There were lots of other good $50 for 100RH Prima skins as well. I recommend checking out http://www.primapoker.com and just seeing what bonus each site has.
Party skins are still worth whoring, although they are nowhere near as good as they once were. And the monthly Sun/Interpoker bonus is decent. $100 for 500RH. Absolute has reloads constantly, and if you like the site they are worth doing. I happen to hate Absolute so I don't whore it.
I'm pretty much done bonus whoring. I've done almost every reasonable bonus out there.

I played Golden Palace and got 10,000 action points in two hours playing NL100 6 max.
No bonus is worth spending half a year on. Even the monster Tiger Gaming bonus I did this past May ($1400) only took about 3 weeks. Even at the micros, there's no way a bonus should take six months. Especially for just $500.

I don't bother with bonuses anymore, but IF I were to, I think Party Poker is still one of the better ones - like someone mentioned, not as good as they used to be, as I believe you have to play more raked hands than you used to, but they offer the bonuses on a pretty monthly basis.
One thing that a friend of mine mentioned though, is that ONLY his accounts that already had $$ in them were offered reload bonuses. So I'm wondering if PP is trying to cut down on people withdrawing their balances at the end of the month and waiting 'til a bonus is offered to reload their accounts....
I don't know. I find bonus whoring to be too much of a hassle, and with all the transferring of money to and from Neteller, I just don't find it worthwhile.

The best site to use for poker bonuses is www.bonuswhores.com.
Also check www.internettexasholdem.com for sign-up bonuses where you can get free books and other things.

A super easy bonus to clear right now is Savvy Poker's bonus for signing up with Mansion.
If you sign up to Mansion through Savvy, make a $100+ Sportsbook bet, or clear $10 in poker rakes, Savvy will give you 900 Savvy points. Those points can be converted to $90 into your Neteller account.
Additionally, there are other bonuses by signing up to various rooms with Savvy. I just cleared another $90 bonus tonight in about an hour.
Sign up to Savvy here: http://www.pokersavvy.com/r/8605
At Mansion right now, they have a Sportsbook promo where if you wager $1100 on the Steelers this week, they guarantee your bet if you lose. If you win, you get an additional $1000. That bet will earn you your 900 Savvy points. It is a no lose situation, and you get $90 for your troubles from Savvy!
That promo is talked about here: http://forum.calgarypuck.com/showthread.php?t=29388
