That arena interior is confusing. How are they getting 19,000 seats in that thing?

None of this is added to the city by simply building a new arena or any building for that matter.
What makes a city world class? Do world class cities actually attract the most talented people?

What makes regional cities great? why is Portland or Austin, or San Fran so popular?
 |
Well if the city adopts this kind of attitude of course we wont make it. Calgary is one of the fastest growing cities in the world and has been around for just over 100 years. London, Paris, and New York have been around much longer, they have that advantage.

World Class cities don't attract 100% of the most talented people but its a very significant %. We want to cut into that %, if you don't like that go move to Edmonton, I'm sure it will be a great 'regional' city someday. I rather my community be the best in the world, not just in the province.

Q: Who would own the facility once completed?

Fixed roof isn't set in stone. They are open to retractable if people want it for football.

By the looks of things riding the train will be necessary unless you live in the area. Unless they plan on building a large parkade below the buildings.

Yeah I mean I know they have to sell, sell, sell, but this is utterly laughable.

King talking about companies not having Liability for Environmental cleanup being unprecedented... Needs more O&G experience! Some interesting examples of such.
