Hopefully they factored that in. If there was a future FIFA mens World Cup in Canada, it would be amazing if Calgary would be one of the venues, so I really hope they thought about seating and adequate field type. I mean you would think they would have.

The walk to Kensington will be shorter and much nicer along the river then the Saddledome to anything decent on 17th no?

Thats where the Oilers got their money from. That means they want Provincial money through the City.

I would think they would have because I'm sure thats in their minds, but I cant say it with any certainty because I only know what they've put on the powerpoint and it wasnt there.

It would be a huge mistake if they didnt.

CRL is through the city like the CMLC did in the East Village. This is a lot less than the EV though.

also was how the city was going to fund West Village anyhow with their own plans was thru CRL.

I hope if this is subject to the 1% public art thing, that we get local individuals (let's say students from SAIT, MRU and U of C) to design the darn things rather than contract them out.
