The clear roof is common in these kinds of concepts just to show the scale of the inisde of the building the actual roof won't be clear at least on the arena side. Perhaps on the fieldhouse stadium side. (if this is indeed real). I like it. It's Different.

I'm not really buying this. It honestly looks like something that someone put together over the last week since the announcement was made. The stadium perspective doesn't look quite right. It looks like whoever put this together just took a bunch of existing buildings and mashed them together... there's very little design cohesion. The lighting too is all over the place.
Perhaps they didn't want to spend the money/time to do it right, but I would think more effort would be spent on something like this.

Not sure how I feel about that rendering . . . why red? and just how many office buildings are we going to build when we're in double-digit vacancy in downtown Calgary? Also, that is some serious realignment with Bow Trail.
I hope it's a bit better than this, but then again, it's just a rendering.

I bet those renderings were fan work. If they've been this good being tight lipped so far, I doubt they'd leak a rendering hours before showtime.
The whole damn thing is probably on one flash drive in KK's suit jacket pocket.
