Burke in Ireland
An interesting look at what Burkie does in his "spare" time
https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/bri...141046961.html
I really liked that he has studied teams (top to bottom) in the "Big 3" American sports.
For all his Bluster , I don't think he gets credit for being a very smart , studious man.

Interesting what he has to say about Ralph Krueger. I had the opinion that he had the best chance of bringing the Oilers up to standard. Looks like he's rebounded much like Dubnyk.

I guess he does, getting to roam around the world, delving into his various sports interests. I'm not knocking him, just a little jealous.

He was on vacation over the last couple of weeks in the UK with all of his kids.
His son, Patrick (the Director of NHL Player Safety), tried to annoy him by taking selfies with him and Tweeting them.
I wonder what he's reading?

I like Burke.
I like that he is a fan of sport and is willing to learn & be involved with sports other than hockey.
As a coach of a Canadian National team once told me "only a fool thinks he can't learn from others, regardless of the sport or their position".
