Recently moved and I take the express bus from Valley Ridge to the downtown core. It's about 35 mins from door to door, so really not as bad as I expected since I used to live more centrally. I usually drive on Fridays since a lot of the parking lots offer cheaper parking that day, and it's nice to have a break from Transit once in a while.

I'm not in Calgary so different region. Live in St.Albert and my drive to work can range from 16 minutes to 36 depending on traffic.
I drive to work and on an average day it takes 22, it's 13km. 9km of the distance is getting from where I live in St.Albert to Edmonton. Going to work it's about 40% of the time to cover that distance. Coming home that part takes up about 70% of the time as the traffic bottles up as you come into St.Albert. I'd consider cycling, but there is no dedicated cycling path to get over the Anthony Hendy coming out of the North West end of St.Albert. With where I drop my son off for day care that presents a challenge.

20 min walk each way (Beltline into the core). Love it. Get some fresh air, a bit of exercise, stop for coffee anywhere, leave my car in underground parking at home, join friends or co-workers for drinks anywhere downtown after work and easily get home after. Low cost, high benefit commute. I would have a really tough time going back to a lengthy public transit or driving commute.

20 minutes from my condo to my office.
I used to commute over an hour each way (Cranston to downtown on transit).
I am much happier now.

Also for the people that walk\bike, do you do that during the winter as well?

I'm a fairweather cyclist, so I won't be biking in poor weather, I'll likely be done by late mid-September. But I walk year-round, always have. The way my commute works it doesn't make sense to commute otherwise. (That said, I'll often take the train a couple stops in the dt core if the train isn't full, it saves me a couple mins in the morning). There are many days when I'm walking faster than the car traffic on 4th Ave. This spring, I injured my knee and needed to drive to work one day. It took longer for me to do just the daycare/home leg in the car than it normally takes for the whole on-foot commute from work-daycare-home.

I drive 15 minutes from my house to a parking lot just outside the beltine by Victoria park station. I pay my $11 and then it's a 15 minute walk to work. I get the best of all worlds by doing this. I park far enough outside downtown that I don't have to fight traffic or pay the ridiculous $30+ per day. I get 30 mins of walking time per day outside. Even during winter it's not so bad. I only have to walk about 4 blocks before I reach a +15 and can walk indoors. But easily the most satisfying part is not having to take the train.

30-40 min drive each way (All time low about 26 min, all time high about 80 min).
Castleridge to Westhills area.
On the way to work - generally my route is 64th Ave - Metis Trail - McKnight Blvd - Deerfoot - Glenmore - Sarcee - Richmond Road.
On the way home, my route is generally Richmond Road - Sarcee - Glenmore - Deerfoot - Memorial - Barlow - McKnight - Metis - 64th Ave.
I don't always go directly between home and the office though. Also, I usually check Google maps prior driving each way - which can alert me to take a different route. I've pretty much used every major North South route in the city at some point (from Stoney on the west side to 100th Street E on the east side), and pretty much every East West route North of Glenmore at some point.
All in costs, probably around $500 per month, which is mostly covered by my car allowance which covers me using my personal vehicle to travel to jobsites and meetings, etc.
I wish my commute was shorter, but it's a great job, and housing prices are rediculous in the area considering that I'd probably still choose to live in the NE even if the prices were the same.

I'm basically split 50/50 between two offices.
45 min walk or 15 min bus to my primary office.
25 min walk or 10 min bus to my secondary office.
I can technically take the train and the commute will be comparable to the bus times, but I don't like how packed it is in the mornings.

Applewood to foothill industrial. 15-20 min drive. Before Stoney trail open on Pegian trail it used to be 30-40 min easily. But if their is a train at 50th it could take an hour depending on how many time that stupid thing want to go back and forth.

I'm always surprised at how uncommon that is in Calgary in these types of threads. Around here, it seems that somewhere around a quarter to a half of the white collar workers I know telecommute at 3-5 days a week. It is kind of recent though, as I guess it would have been less than 5% 10 years ago.
