That is some crazy stuff. I am in the process of building my new PC, but the cooking oil mod is just a bit too hardcore.

Actually, around 4 years back, when I had a watercooling system for my pc, I experimented with using transformer coolent oil. (my bro in law worked for a firm that worked with it)
worked pretty well, but I didn't see much of a difference compared to water. (possibly due to my pump not being good enough, as it was of a slightly higher viscosity than water) but it was non electricly conductive, so if I sprang a leak, my system would be fine.

I know the guys who started this company:

http://www.coolitsystems.com/index.php

I've seen their systems work, and they're pretty amazing. They developed this system a few years ago as a bunch of hardcore gamers that were blowing up their computers when they overheated, and last I heard were trying to negotiate a deal with Intel to installl the system on their new PC's.

The beverage cooler is pretty cool as well....

I've always wanted to try watercooling. On my HTPC it may help cut some of the noise. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm sure I've stretched the life of this mobo longer than is reasonable (ECS K7S5A) and soon expect to replace it, I'd be all over this.
