Well, I haven't tried All-Madden for 07, but I did play it a lot for 06. You have to find specific pass patterns that work. I found shallow Crossing routes, and well as TE slants to the outside worked extremely well. The thing is you have to look for specific matchups and work within them. If you have a good TE I found it helps exponentially, then when an LB is on him for Cover duty, you can exploit it.
Also, for the vision cone, I usually have a receiver in mind 90% of the time before the play even starts, start the vision cone on someone else, then switch just as you are about to fire.
Oh and I didn't feel like playing the defense myself, I just put it on CPU, and played my player on offense.

I picked up the game last Thursday, for myy 360, and have enjoyed it. The only downside is I've got a minor case of burn-in on my nice HD plasma TV from the god damn EA logo on the scoreboard. I was absolutely ****ed. It's not too bad, but you can kind of notice it on a pure white background.

Just run a pure white BG on your TV for a couple of hours, and that should "whitewash" the burn-in away...

Probably just dumb luck.
My first superstar was a HB as well and I got drafted by the Bears. With Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson around picking up a HB in the 3rd round doesn't seem too logical.
My only complaint with the mode is that immediately you're the starter at your position. It would've been nice to have an option to not be able to edit the depth chart and have to earn your starting role if your team has depth at your position. A lot of people wouldn't like that, but it'd still be nice for next year if EA put in the option.

I have been contemplating on getting this game. I didn't mind last years and stopped playing it when NHL 2K6 came out.

Your not always the starter, depends if you are better or not.

Right, but what he was saying above is that you can change depth charts yourself, so you can be the starter as soon as you want to.
I just made myself a WR Superstar, which is really fun and unique. Way less impact on the game than say an RB or QB (unless you are me ). He has 99 speed so I am awsome on Kick returns and I can burn a corner who makes a questionable move. But the QB has to see you open and you need to get open pretty fast too, and you can go quite a few series w/o even being on the field (I'm GB's #2, mostly because I get waaaay more deep routes than the #1).

I know its a video game about sports but it should be in Off Topic.

The AI is getting kind of frusterating, now that I boosted the difficulty.
The AI time management is absolutely insane (since I'm a WR, I can't control when the ball is snapped), but in my game, in a 1 score game, with 40 seconds left, my offense ran 4 plays (all runs), but wouldn't let the play clock tick down more than 10 seconds each time (clock was running). I mean talk about stupid. Then they get the ball back, because they use their last time out when it goes to 3rd down and long.
Also, Farve is horrible at passing. I think he threw 5 picks last game, not to mention when you've got your man beat down the field to the outside, you SHOULD throw OVER the defender to get it to your wide out (lob pass), not directly at him (bullet pass). It has resulted in at least 2 INTs, when a lob pass would have got a TD.
Just silly things like that are starting to bother me with this game.

I'm angry about the AI being WAY too easy on the pass.
Just increased the difficulty level and I'm playing a Cover 3 Quarter package against 4 receivers....and all the CPU does is toss it up to his deep man and he catches it each time, regardless....even when it looks like I have the INT it just goes through my guys hands....it's getting a little frustrated when this happens 3 times in a game.

Yeah its the same as it was in 06. You need to manually switch to the cover man, and just hit the deflect or catch button as the ball comes in. Its the only way because for some reason the AI defense on your team wont defend properly.

You playing All-Madden mode?
I'm about to step up to it on 07, because All-Pro is a breeze.
