Too bad we couldn't cash one, but a 10 pitch at-bat for Pillar was awesome. At this rate Nova will be relieved in the 5th!

I usually keep the boxscore open when the Jays are playing, but today's the first game in a long time that I've made a point of watching from the beginning. Happy to be back on the bandwagon.

It's so comforting watching Price pitch. I'm so much more relaxed today.

Source: Blue Jays on the verge of acquiring Cliff Pennington from Diamondbacks.
Can play SS, 2B and 3rd. Hitting .237 with 1 homerun and 10 RBI's. Can hit from both sides of the plate. Perfect utility player.

Very soft hitting SS who also plays 2B and 3B. Have to think that'll be it for Kawasaki for now, right?

Not much you can do when your 2b gets injured and is probably done for the majority of the remainder of the season.
Pennington isn't very good, but has been decent defensively in the past. He was pretty decent with the A's a few years ago.

WTF. Umpires are totally out of hand. Unacceptable to toss him from the video (not knowing what he actually said).

Gibbons apparently peeved that the home plate ump didn't get appeals at first for both of Donaldsons check swings. #umpshow

Dumb ejection stemming from a bad call. Usually how it goes.
