XM Nation - Fav. Chan?
Hey guys and gals...
Im a huge XM Radio freak since i got it (and im in my work truck a lot..)
Just wondering what some of your favorite chans are?
Mine:
12 - X Country -
On almost all the time. Fav. Chan, plays exactly the type of music i love.
16 - Highway 16
Love this for the new country, way too repetitive though.
204 - NHL Chan.
Good for updates, but the guys bother me a bit because they're not funny.
41 - Bone Yard
Good for if i want to hear some stadium rock.
48 - Squizz
Good hard rock station (42 good death metal, but can only take so much)
202 - Opie and Anthony
These guys are freakin funny. Gross out and shock humour all the way.
Be really good come hockey time.. scrolling scores and any game i want, plus the display of the period and the score is a double bonus.
Those are my most listened to chans. Anyone else?

66 Raw, 68 and 67 sometimes (too much repeating), 74 Blues and 73 Jazz.
I love 90's on 9. But the station I listen to most is 122 CNN. I know, I am boring...

52- The Verge, lots of good new music
and if i'm feeling mindless 30 XM hits, and Franks place when i feel like so classic vocal jazz

I find Ron and Fez far funnier than Opie and Anthony. Listen to them at lunch every day and they never fail to crack me up.
I like listening to baseball while driving as well as Fox Sports 142. For music, I like the Canadian stations, 52, 43 as well as 47 and 54. Indie and alternative mostly.

48 Squizz is my favorite for sure, it's pretty much all I listen to right now. When I'm at work, I might tune into the talk news stations as well.
I'm also a big fan of movie scores, and therefore channel 27 offers a nice selection.

Anyone else find it weird when you pass someone with XM and you get their signal and what they're listening to?

I just think that if you lived somewhere like LA or NYC where probably tonnes of people have XM / Sirius, this would be a constant battle.

I have the Sportster Replay for Sirius, and yes, you can do that. It makes a quick beep, then brings up which station the song is playing on up on the screen. Then you just hit another button and it brings you right to it.

I was kind of wondering that as well. I guess it's one of the perks about living in a really small town.......I don't have that problem at all!

XM radio does that. You can choose your favourite artists or songs and the radio beeps when they are playing on another channel and you press the button to change. It's a really nice feature.

I haven't had this happen to me yet in Toronto. Wouldn't you have to be on the same FM frequency as them for this to be an issue? With so many vacant frequencies available, I'm surprised this would be an issue.

? What do you mean? Are they not doing well financially? I am looking at getting satellite radio but still dont know which service to get. I would hate to get XM, and then they collapse a few months later.
Does anyone else have any insight into these providers and how they are doing, which is superior (if any)?
