I dunno....
His handling of the media is pretty good. He made a major error on the McCain issue, but one day later he changes the story by handing out the guys cell phone #.
I think he'll appeal to the "I think they are all idiots and want the establishment changed" crowd.
He'll persist until the end.
Things will get more interesting than less for a while.

I truly hope he goes for the independent vote, that would spell disaster for the Republicans.

She seemed to do a good job as Secretary of State (depending on how you feel about 'benghazi-gate'). That's one of the biggest positions outside of President. She also had a good run as senator of New York. Really not sure how much MORE you could do, but I guess it all depends on how you feel she did in those jobs. That's to say nothing about her being first lady which I do think adds a lot of experience, though I know many will argue against it, or state that she didn't earn it, so I won't argue it.
Not saying she's a great candidate, but as far as what has she done politically as a question, her resume is pretty full.

Yeah, never heard anyone suggest she's not qualified, quite the opposite most of the people complain about her being too much of an insider, a long time politician who's part of the problem of money in politics and the old guard so to speak.

He's campaigning based on how they think the average guy in middle class and maybe lower class thinks. Especially about the immigration issue. His strategy is based around populist politics.
People are worried about losing their jobs to illegals, so he ramps up the rhetoric on the illegals. He's hearing that Vets aren't getting the help that they need and this is a big issue, so he goes after the big dog in terms of the poster boy for veterans who hasn't done a good job with the Veteran file.
What he's basically doing is throwing haymakers and hoping that the "little guy" sits there and says, at least he's doing what should have been done years ago.
Certain voting blocks like the bluster disguised as no compromise tough talk.
Is it the right strategy? Nope, probably not because when your in a room with a yelling guy that really says nothing eventually you put on your headphones and hit play on your walkman and flood him out.
What Trump is doing is actually fairly effective because he's stealing time and the lime light from his competitors so right now he looks like the only visible option.
He's going to run into the same trouble as Trudeau has up here in that he comes across as style over any kind of substance and eventually when the voters start looking at what he's promoting he comes across as nonsensical and an empty sphere.
Even though I would like to see him win because it would really revitalize Saturday Night Live who's never done a good job with Obama.

I think she qualified but she is such a coperate shill. Shes a republican in sheeps clothing. She is the Female Reagan.
America needs to step away from Clinton and Bush families for a while.

America needs a super villain dictator. That way they can get back to the roots that they are so proud of of having rebellions and protests against an evil monarch.
They need someone that's strong, doesn't care about civil liberties, doesn't want to appear on talk shows except to sit on a thrown and cackle as he talks about the latest government reprisals against the rebel cells. Runs games featuring teenager on teenage violence on the government controlled one channel T.V. network, and announces that only light beer will be served from now on.
I nominate Donald Sutherland for President and I approve this ad.

Please please please no. Do not give American's any ounce of justification for having the 2nd Amendment in modern times.

Why do people uniformly think that the Democrats will be better than the Republicans?

Their social policies are uniformly better than the Republicans.
If you're going to get a lifelong politician who does everything to get the votes and is beholden to lobby money anyway, you might as well get one who doesn't hate gay people and wants to let women retain the right to have an abortion.

Democrats will win, not sure if they will govern better or not but lets get real here the republicans don't stand a chance they are behind the times socially and fall further and further behind as younger voters and minorities largely vote democrat as the older republican base dies off

Pretty much every social issue the Republicans are against are the opposite of current popular opinion. So I'd hardly call that with or ahead of the times, which can only leave...

The one Republican ticket I could see defeating Clinton is a Bush / Kasich ticket. If Bush does get past the primaries, there would be a lot of pressure to pick a more conservative (tea-partyish) running mate, like both Romney and McCain did. But the smart thing to do would be to pick Kasich on the grounds that he is actually pretty conservative, even if most Republicans don't really appreciate that. A ticket with popular governors from Florida and Ohio (who wouldn't alienate moderate voters in other states) would be very formidable.

Yeah you might as well vote for people who still believe the Earth is flat. They have no ability to adapt to new information and actively lobby for changes that go backwards.

Who the hell cares about social policies? Social policies only serve as distractions to simple minded people. The fact of the matter is that Democrats fail on economic issues due most of them being idealistic Socialists.
