Default FS: 7 Piece Dining Set With Hutch and Buffet - Price Lowered

I have a dining room set that was owned by my grandparents. They gifted it to my in 2010, and I've been using it since. I am selling it because I am updating the dining room to a more contemporary look.

This is a great set, especially if you have a family and want to make the dining room the main gathering point in your home. I'd love to see it go to a CPer.

$800 OBO. $650 for a CP'er. Feel free to PM me if interested.

That is beautiful. May I suggest sanding it and lacquering another color to match the new room instead? My brother does that all the time. He did cherry wood red and a black on some old furniture and it looked amazing.

If you have any difficulty selling, maybe contact the consignment gallery?

Thanks. Good idea. If it hasn't sold next week I'll look into that.

I did think of that, but even then it won't really fit the new decor. I'm going for more of a leather/glass/chrome look. The new table I have is a tempered smoked glass.

I am sure someone out there would be much happier with this to match their style instead.

I'd buy it instantly if I had the room. That's great woodwork.

Thanks. My grandparents had it as the centerpiece of their home for over 20 years. It's a great table that has held up very well. Just not my style and doesn't fit well into my new house that I am moving to.

Most furniture made in the 80's and early 90's tend to be top notch quality. After that, not so much unless you're paying several arms and legs for it.
