This is awesome and does a good job of showing the impact this game has had on my life. It was made for the long lines at E3, so it's a bit of a watch, but it's worth it.

I lucked out during Iron Banner and ended up getting 4 of them, and the Iron Banner rocket launcher.
Rolled the launcher to get Hard Launch, Tripod, Javelin, and Grenades and Horseshoes.
Don't really know what would be good on the BTRD. Rolled one with Hidden hand and noticed in PvE it's pretty much a crit all the time so I might keep that one.
Maybe Nham can help out.
Nice. That's a great roll for the launcher. What do you use the BRTD for? PvE/PvP?
Another trials highlight. Wish I thought to record a sniping streak I was on. Titan is probably the worst class for PvP but one of the most enjoyable.
So I feel like I just don't get ToO. My PvP isn't bad (at least, I think its not too bad). I'm pretty run and gun and am pulling my KD up to just under 1.0, so I figure if I'm more cautious in Trials, I should be able to do better right?
Wrong - I get smashed almost every time. I feel like I'm always the second one to get the shot off and therefore lose almost all one on one battles. Any thoughts outside of just more practice?

You just know that there was one guy on that team that looked up and was like Fuuuuuuuu.......
Nice play. Do you rock the Mida often in Crucible?

There's definitely a fine line between aggressive and stupid. I'm starting to find the former more often but still put myself in bad situations too often when running in.
I think it really comes down to a combination of being able to anticipate when and where engagements will happen. Going beyond just knowing the radar is blinking but predicting where they'll be, keeping yourself in a good position to engage (ie having an escape option if you need to pull out, hide under cover etc)

Haha yeah, noticed one guy trying to blink away last second but no dice for him. I don't as much anymore as that time was strictly for the speed boost.
Going to be free after 2PM MT if people are interested in doing Trials (PS4). Whether just for fun or want some help getting better in ToO. Add me with a message, Nhamlet is my gamertag if it wasn't obvious lol.
Also no carries to Lighthouse. Ain't enough skill in the world to stop the sunsinger burning nades and Thorn spam.
Nham I realized I have yet to do trials with you. Iron Banner is all we have done together. I will have to hit you up for a few rounds one of these days.
Trials has been my Kryptonite, I can carry a great KD ratio though banner when im on my warlock or hunter but I have had some terrible experiences in trials.
As with the BTRD and the roll, I have several... but would be nice to have a PvP one, like that Iron Banner launcher. The rest will be for PvE.
Definitely. Anybody interested, I should be free all of Friday and midday Saturday.
PvP I'd go with Aggressive Ballistics (3 headshot kill), Hidden Hand or Hip Fire for better crit accuracy, Snapshot or Smallbore for quicker scope in or range, with Feeding Frenzy or Rangefinder.
Everything was going swimmingly last night in crucible.
Sitting at 8-0, but having burnt the loss forgiveness boon against an amazing team, my squad was feeling pretty good, only one more win to go.
Then, lo and behold....a wild team of last round efrideet's spear players show up.
We gave them a good fight, but couldn't overcome the last round advantage. Really frustrating that they can get a one shot kill by tickling your toes.

Brutal. I use my Benevolence now instead of my own Efrideet's since I was stupid enough to get rid of that stock LDR but the moment you hear those Final Rounds being primed, you can bet I'm not afraid to pull out mine. Should be taken out of the game at this point.

Okay, so I just read through this and not sure why. I am pissed that Hand Cannons seem to be getting nerfed (again) but really happy Gally is being nerfed. Ive wanted that gun my entire Destiny life, and nothing pisses me off more then not getting group invite based on having that rocket launcher. It needed to be nerfed. Cant comment on the PvP changes as Ive always been more of a PvE
I like most of the changes. Compounding nerf/buffs are always a very fine line to balance as one change for an archtype could send another to the top or to the pits depending on how the meta adapts. Can't really say anything about how the primary changes will be like until the changes are applied and a few weeks pass by. The reasoning behind them looks sound.
Specific changes, some seemed unnecessary like Black Hammer, others appreciated like Hard Light and Lord of Wolves as well as necessary such as Necrochasm. These changes are honestly making me consider a different load beyond elemental primary, sniper with surplus secondary and gjallahorn for 90% of my content. Maybe now a fireteam mixing up Thorn for DoT, Lord of Wolves for Recovery Boost and a Necrochasm for crowd control is even encouraged.
As glad to hear about the Final Round change. Doesn't affect PvE, helps remove the issue from PvP.
Also as requested, Iceman dancing through a rain of bullets for a clutch res during Skolas.
Lots of stuff to filter through, one massive change that will affect existing weapons: Stat Perk Tuning Pass
The initial set of stat perks that have been on weapons since launch (Send It, Hammer Forged, Field Scout, Perfect Balance, etc.) all granted a pretty huge increase to their targeted stat. Not only did they spike their stat, but they never asked the player to make a meaningful trade-off for it on the weapon. We have gone back to all of these stat perks and reduced the amount that they buff your weapon stat, and this change was made retroactively against all year one weapon talent grids.
To compensate for the weaker stat perks from launch weapons, we added some new stat perks (which have already showed up on your House of Wolves weapons) that do provide a significant increase to a stat in exchange for a reduction in other stats. This allows players to be able to spike a stat that reinforces their play style, but at a cost. Basically, if you want to spike a stat we are asking you to specialize the weapon for what that stat offers.

It doesn't appear Bungie will be satisfied until every weapon is equally effective. If that's the goal, I don't understand the point in having dozens of variations of each type. Just give us one handgun, one shotgun, etc.
Having some guns be more effective than others is the whole reason behind why we strive for them. But as soon as a majority get them and begin to learn how to best utilize them, they nerf them and buff something else.
Eventually, those that which were nerfed get re-buffed and the cycle begins anew. It's a piss poor excuse for introducing unnecessary gameplay adjustments. Game updates should be for fixing game-breaking glitches and introducing new content.
They need to stop messing with the game and trying to force us to use the weapons they want us to use.
I'm excited to start using some new weapons.
I rely too much on fatebringer/black hammer/gally for PvE.
I'm bummed about the pulse rifle nerf though, because I just got into crucible, and red death is the one gun that has really worked well for me.
I have a few of the more popular vanilla auto rifles so maybe I'll find one of those fits me nicely.

You mean Fatebringer, Felwinter's style shotguns and Gjallahorn?
Don't agree with that at all. They have an idea of where certain weapons should excel as laid out by their goals. Right now handcannons in general are too good in almost all ranges except super long range kind of like auto rifles before the nerf. Bungie clearly doesn't want one weapon to be dominating across range and play styles. It's about giving viability to all options and flexibility to decide how you want to play.
This is an evolving game and finding optimal balance is a necessity. Destiny isn't the only game to be in constant flux of finding balance. League and Dota have been out for years and are still getting patches. Planetside 2 is another shooter with more history but still gets patches with buffs and needs regularly. The player base will learn to adapt and provide feedback.
