Dutch investigators find overwhelming evidence that puts the blame for MH17 squarely on Russian missiles.

Quote:
Dutch accident investigators say that evidence points to pro-Russian rebels as being responsible for shooting down MH-17, according to a source who has seen the report.

According to the source, the report says it was a Buk missile -- a Russian surface-to-air missile -- that was used, launched from a village in Russian rebel controlled territory.

The Malaysian Airlines flight went down in the Donetsk area of Ukraine. According to two sources with knowledge of the investigation, a draft of an investigative report authored by the Dutch Safety Board, the lead agency in the investigation, has been distributed for review to numerous agencies around the world including the National Transportation Safety Board, Federal Aviation Administration and Boeing.

Since the missiles were likely operated by Russian soldiers (given the overwhelming amount of leaks/evidence posted on this in the other threads/internet)... Russia immediately rebuked the report blaming Jewish made air to air missiles as the culprit.

I really don't understand how RT can operate the way it does, every other news outlet (in this case even Dutch sources) puts out one thing and they always have some kind of loony bin crackpot theory for things that blame Russia.

The UN is also trying to set up a war crimes tribunal for the MH17 disaster, Russia has already said they will veto any such moves. Imagine any accused criminal getting to veto investigations his potential crimes. Wild...

Ask Fox News about relentless spin in the face of overwhelming evidence.

And again, the most obvious answer proved to be the correct answer.

This is what happens when you hand a bunch of bumbling hillbillies sophisticated weapons without the proper training. While I am sure that neither the Russian rebels in Ukraine or the Russians that gave them the weapons wanted this to happen, they are ultimately responsible.

And just in time....

Israeli-made air-to-air missile may have downed MH17 - report

"The report says that that Soviet- and Russian-made surface-to-air missile systems use more powerful warheads than the established maximum 40kg, as is the case with MH17.

Moreover, Soviet- and Russian-made air-to-air missiles which have a similar 10-40kg warhead capability use other types of strike elements within one warhead - obviously not the case with MH17."

I can't believe it's been a year already since MH17 was brought down.
I didn't expect this to be such an emotional day for me, but with all the images, all the video's and all the radio and tv stations looking back at what happend 1 year ago, I found myself fighting the tears a couple of times already.

I agree. I flew a Malaysia 777 yesterday from Hong Kong to KL.
The flight crew was outstanding, just so sweet and sincere.
I kept thinking of the crew and passengers lost in the 2 incidents.
So sad.

Useless UN is useless.

Can we not just form a court without russian consent? Obviously arresting anyone would be difficult but at least we can make life a bit more miserable for those responsible?

If a seagull fell out of the sky over the red square Putin would publicly blame the west and claim he got an apology. How 298 people could be murdered and it can't even be investigated is very troubling.

Of course Obama is too busy biting his nails to say anything.

Now Russia wants to look at sanctions against power house nations like Iceland, Montenegro, Norway, Albania, Lichtenstein, Georgia and Ukraine.... Yeah make sure you invade a country, take a section of it and make it into Russia, then put sanctions on the nation you invaded. Only in Putin's fantasy world.

MOSCOW, July 30. /TASS/. Russia may take retaliatory measures against the seven countries that have backed EU sanctions.
"Certainly, retaliatory steps may follow," presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told the media. "We say once again that the principle of reciprocity is a fundamental one."
Seven European countries — Montenegro, Albania, Iceland, Norway, Lichtenstein, Ukraine and Georgia have reaffirmed to the EU Council they prolonged the participation in the EU’s sanctions against Crimea and Sevastopol till June 23, 2016, as follows from a statement by the EU high representative for foreign affairs and security policy, Federica Mogherini, published on the EU Council’s website on July 28.
Six of these countries except Georgia also joined the EU’s decision of July 22 to prolong economic sanctions against Russia till January 31, 2016.

Stuff like that proves Putin is starting to shake a little, the games he's playing (like the bombers 40 miles from the cali coast) shows he's getting desperate.

I don't know, he's worrisome to me because he seems genuinely delusional, and that makes for a dangerous man with all his power and military might. I keep saying to myself, its just posturing, its a bully trying to assert power and let everyone know he's there, because honestly in world affairs the west dominates and Russia as much as it wants to be a world player is an afterthought economically.

Its like a man with a very small penis just trying to compensate
