I know it's probably a pipe dream but I would love to see Peter Sagan win a Tour.

Crash just inside 1 km to go today. Looks like the current yellow jersey, Tony Martin, is done with a collarbone.

What a stage! Alp d'Huez, arguably he greatest sporting spectacle in the world. Quintana and Valverde attacked and attacked and got away. Froome is very lucky he has the strongest team because he was done and his teammates dragged him up the final climb.

Poor Ryder, another great day... another young guy shooting off like a jackrabbit on him after a long day of climbing. Great to see him fly the flag though.

Garmin Cannondale couldn't have had a worse tour, when are they going to learn that Martin and Talansky are not legit GC guys? It's a well backed team, it's shocking to me that they didn't go after a guy like Ritchie Porte.

Cycling has gotten so cynical the first thing I think is doper when I see a guy put in the kinds of accelerations Pinot did at the end of a climb like Alpe d'huez. Aru looked the exact same at the Giro - climbing for hours and then pulling off a sprint for 5 minutes at the end of a massive climb. Probably just sour grapes seeing Ryder get beat.

On the plus side, great rides by Froome and Quintana, fun battle, and seeing cheats/classless guys like Cavendish, Rolland and Contador well out of contention for their goals is a plus.
