Thanks Maz for a great game. By far the best flavour. I loved the duel plot. Did you by chance write the ending for if the Host won or do you just write day by day? It really added to the urgency of the game

Good game everyone.

I'm interested to see the spore path and where it ended up.

I think party went 5, oling 6,HG 7 but this doesn't explain HGs play day 7 but if he was converted night 8 it meant that the spore must have hit peanut, biz, or mrk at some point.

Disappointed I investigated Starseed as the post didn't quite make sense as turned either and should have thought about it more. I was leaning Diss though but was finding problems with that so perhaps I would have figured it out. And that miss put the game on a coin flip.

If I have my math right the randomness worked out equally for both sides with 4 conversions and 4 misses.

I have other thoughts and questions on strategy as well but will wait until others have a chance to post before getting into them.

Oling was 5, PE was 6, I was 7.

I gave the spore to Squiggs but he didn't turn.

I found this one to be harder than the last. GGG is definitely awesome at this game!

Day 8 I had BIzaro or you as scum and I was gauging reactions by saying your argument was fake. You came in with your post listing all of your genuine reactions which pushed me to lynch a Biz. I probably get there on my own but you putting it all together in one place helped me lunch Biz.

Did you guys know who the hosts were by the end?

I leaned a lot on the Lego insights from earlier in the game, so I think that helped me narrow it down to mrkaj and peanut, but Biz as host completely surprised me. Luckily my screw up didn't costs us the game. I will take comfort in the fact that Diss was GGG's prime turned target before me!

One thing is that the game gets way easier when you are confirmed town. You can ignore the noise other people are making and respond to what you feel like without worrying about being considered a suspect. You also get to drive the discussion where you want it to go.

Very fun game Mazrim. It is much appreciated how much effort you put into these.

I was quite confident I was going to be able to send the spore during Night 9. I knew I had enough people thinking I was town that I'd get it fairly soon. Thankfully I didn't turn after HG sent it to me. I would have sent it to Pux if the game went one more day, but I had been thinking of doing something a little crazy with it if I had gotten it earlier. If I received the spore and did not turn, I wanted to send it to myself. It would be fantastic if it paid off, but a huge gamble if it didn't. Luckily GGG was smart enough to go after Peanut instead of going after starseed. GGG you are easily the MVP of the game. Well done.

I want to know how much of Peanut's lack of posting was done on purpose. I also want to know why biz voted for mrk during the deadline lynch. That's a big gamble if Oling comes back.

Great game everyone and good job GGG. I tried to play this game a little different and the whoa is me play near the end was pure strategy and certainly different then what I did in the other games. It seemed to have worked though. Don't know how I keep getting to the end of each mafia game, must be pure luck actually. Sorry Timbo for leading that lynch, I was off there. HG and I's feaud was fun as well. Thanks Maz, great job as usual!

For how much I was trying to push discussion on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, I was shocked to see how it all went down this morning when I was out golfing. Were people lurking during all this time, not responding, and just waiting for GGG to post?

I think you guys did get a little unlucky with Seb getting confirmed town and us lynching devo when he had the spore.

Bizaro what was the logic behind your missed deadline hammer was it really an accident. I struggled with it all game so i think it helped you and if not for it only being possible that either you or HG had to be scum and HG actively tried to lynch Mrkajz all game it likely would have worked.

Peanut voting early probably helped. After I voted and we had two town votes on peanut Party surrendered so it went quick after that.

Tip of the hat to GGG - went three for three when it mattered. I had a feeling GGG might have been GA earlier in the game, but it was the general feeling of scum that we didn't want to try and turn the GA due to the 25% chance (and we had bad luck early in the game for turning people).

I mentioned this in the dead thread, but Oling never showed up. I really want to get his take on letting GGG run the show after his reveal. That was after Oling turned, so I could see it being to get town credit. However, if we lynched town the day that I got lynched (can't remember the day off the top of my head), scum would have won. So I'm wondering why Oling decided to allow GGG to make the call. Didn't really matter at that point if we looked scummy as long as a townie was lynched.

I'll also say that playing scum was 10x harder than I thought. We knew so much more than everyone, especially with the spore, so I found myself double and triple checking my posts to avoid messing up. A few people even picked up my posts were "polished" and that was because they were!

Great fun - wish I was less busy at work so I could have been a little more involved, but I can't stay away from this game!

Also, tip of the hat to Biz as well - he lead us really well in the host thread. Kept a level head all the time and had great advice. I would have felt lost without him.

I think that was a turning point. If any scum had posted it was a bad idea to let me pick I would have probably followed them into lynching a Party or Squiggs. Also it confirmed to me that oling was turned because I don't think town oling does that.

The next two days I'm surprised I was allowed free reign even though I could have been turned. It allowed me to just focus on analyzing vote patterns.
