I changed my mind after reading through the game and seeing how starseed acted at the end of day 8. See my posts at 2792, 2796, 2797, 2799, 2857. I'm on my phone or I'd link them myself.

So if it's tied with 2 scum at the dealine does Bizaros behaviour make sense.

Checking in from stampeding. I think his behaviour would make sense in that context. I believed him at the time (sick kid, angry wife... I get it). But it could have also been a gamble that by doing nothing at the deadline that Oling wouldn't show up and that way Bizaro didn't have to pull the trigger on either of them and they all live to see another day. He did put his vote on MrKajz eventually but it was after the deadline so it essentially meant/means nothing. He could have put his vote on Starseed after the deadline as well to achieve the same ends, which was that we ended at a deadlock, as long as Oling didn't surface in that overtime and break the tie.

My assumption is/was that Oling was unturned at that stage of the game. I was not suspicious of either Oling or Bizaro for missing that deadline vote due to life getting in the way. BUT if it was two scum on the block and Oling was turned with instructions on who to vote for, and Bizaro was host, then it would make sense that they kept it at a deadlock on purpose with two scum on the block. Even if Oling was unturned it makes sense for Bizaro to try and keep two scum at the deadlock and hope Oling doesn't show up.

You have HG subtlety moving the vote away from peanut not disclosing who his list is and Squiggs actively doing it. So those are the two turned with peanut as scum.

Obviously. You would not have spoke up unless the host were in danger.

It's been fun guys. Who would've thought the town would just suddenly get everything right the day they got to lynch or lose. Party elephant out.

An interesting play here.

We know PE isn't town.

PE host

At 5-3. If peanut is town we go 4-3, this draws my investigation to PE which would give scum a chance to win if he is host.

If peanut was town scum is quiet I have to choose between Squiggs and HG perhaps both are the turned. Then 4-3, then 4-2 scum still has a chance to win by converting.

So there is no gain to scum if peanut is town. And if we survive the night we know who to lynch next for the win

At 5-3 lynch PE (turned) making it 5-2, worst case 4-3 in the morning lynch peanut (if town we lose)

If peanut is turned we go into night 5-2, worst case in morning 4-3, lynch PE win game as he gets checked.

Lynching peanut is correct here. If she's town and scum have the spore it's 50/50 regardless of the investigation target. So no benefit to the scum with PEs play.

I don't understand your play though you had Squiggs ready to vote Starseed and just needed one other in order to get him lynched and have a shot for the win.

If indeed this is the end and not an elaborate scam I would have pushed that I was probably turned and went with a Diss is confirmed town approach to get him on your side. Just start liking what Squiggs is saying.

The passengers were focused. They felt confident that they were on the right track. They turned their attention to Peanut, who had been suspiciously quiet for some time. After attempting to make some excuses, Peanut started saying inconherent bunches of words and attempted to run down the nearest corridor. It wasn't far before a group was able to tackle their target and finished the job. The remains of Peanut began to quickly disintegrate, and as the last of the alien's body disappeared from the floor, the ship suddenly lurched to a stop.

Peanut, Engineer - Lynched Day 9

Somehow, he had made it. The Vic Viper was not in good shape, but he was alive, and the pilot was exhausted. The fire was gone, and now the corridor had turned into faces. Thousands of faces. They were all calling out in different voices, different languages. All of them speaking out in one horrific dissonant sound. The pilot occasionally could hear the sound saying something...it sounded like "listen", but that was the most he could make out.

He briefly considered turning the ship around and getting out before something even worse happened, but he had no idea if there was actually any way of escaping. He had battled through so many different obstacles the Bacterians had thrown at him so far, anyway. Why give up now?

Navigating the ever-changing living corridor, he spotted something in the distance. As he got closer and the room brightened, he realized it was an enormous head. It stared imperiously towards him, and the urge to shy away was unavoidable. Was this Bacterian himself?

"I was born out of the greediness of mankind. So long as humans exist, so will I..."

These words invaded the mind of the pilot. The words echoed in his mind, and continued to get louder and louder, threatened to deafen him. The pilot started to scream in pain, slamming the controls of the Vic Viper, firing all his lasers and missiles at Bacterian.

"Mankind is intriguing. They serve our purposes well. The empire will annihilate this galaxy with your help-"

The massive brain of Bacterian had no protection, and the impacts of the missiles blew it open. Bacterian bellowed in pain, and began to dissolve. All the faces around him yelled out in their languages, and the entire corridor began to shake. The pilot hit the engine to full power, and raced through an opening in the brain to an exterior corridor. He raced as fast as possible to beat out the crumbling planet.

The Vic Viper was barely holding together, but seeing the remains of the planet behind him, he knew the worst was over. He would hobble his way back to Gradius and need to wait for repairs, but any remnants of the Bacterians would be easily dispatched if they could even function without their leader.

"Father, you're free." he said out loud to himself. Space was quiet, and he talked to himself to make it feel a little more interesting.

A few days later, the passengers waited idly on the transport ship, which had no engine power since the host had disappeared. They had explored the ship completely, and found no trace of any alien life. Finally, they heard the sound from the comm console they had been waiting for. The military had arrived, 20 ships strong. They secured the sector and offloaded the passengers from the ship. Their hellish days of survival were finally over. Though some had been lost in the process, their efforts were not in vain.

Party Elephant, Turned - Killed in Endgame
Hockeyguy15, Turned - Killed in Endgame

GGG, Government Agent - Victorious
Puxlut, Genetic Anomaly - Victorious
squiggs96, Passenger - Victorious
starseed, Passenger - Victorious
dissentowner, Passenger - Victorious

The Passengers have successfully fended off the threat of the Bacterians! Congratulations!

I will post pastebins of all the game info as well as a postmortem when I get a chance in the next couple days. Feel free to use this thread to discuss the game.

Think how quickly we could have ended it if we lynched Mrkajz days earlier.
