Default Crazy predictions for the Flames next year?

Post something that'll make you look like a genius at the end of the year. Even if it's a pipe dream

After leading the Friars in scoring by 11 points Mark Jankowski gets signed to his ELC and plays the first 2 games of his NHL career recording his first NHL point with a goal against the Canucks on April 7th.

Not expected to play much with the team in the playoffs (who finished a solid 3rd in the west) he is inserted into the lineup because of injury's to Juri Hudler and Joe Colburn. in Game 4 against the Minnesota Wild. the 6'3 205lb forward from Dundas Ont. records 3g/2a in 3 games playing RW with Monahan and Gaudreau on Calgarys top line.

Seizing the opportunity Mark goes onto record 16 more points including 2 goals in the 4-0 win over Washington in game 5 on June 9 helping Calgary win it 2nd Stanley Cup.

Win the division by beating Anaheim in the ROW tiebreak. Edmonton finishes tenth in the west and still drafts top 3.

Teams aren't surprised by our work ethic any longer and come out prepared. Flames fall back to earth and miss playoffs. Win the lottery and get first overall pick.

Sam Bennett out scores Connor McDavid to win the Calder trophy. That's right, I said it.

Flames finish higher than the oilers. Impossible according to the internet.

Oilers rush McDavid and Nurse and they both do nothing spectacular and neither are seriously considered for the Calder (except some who vote for McDavid just because he's McDavid, not because he's earned it).

Bennett dominates rookie scoring proving that he is on par with Ekblad and would have made it interesting last year for the Calder.

Someone from the Flames wins the Norris.

Flames make a trade for a high scoring winger, giving up some young prospects.
