That has to be a typo for 5'11". Hockey DB shows him as 5'9".

I believe he got injured in early Feb and they said 3-4 months for full recovery so he should be pretty close to, if not 100%. He posted a pic of his scar a few weeks ago and made a joke how he was more worried about his hand model career then his hockey one.

When he was up as a Black Ace in Calgary in late April/early May he was shooting the puck and skating around. It wasn't hard or great shots, but he was shooting it and using that wrist. They also kept him on a lower body strength plan that kicked in about 2 weeks after surgery.

Harrison is injured.

Scott Cruickshank @CruickshankCH
Prospects D Rushan Rafikov (visa) and RW Tim Harrison (injury) are not participating in #Flames development camp this week.

Nice to see Deblouw attend. Nice to get a look at him and see how he compares to everyone else.

Five prospects featured in this Herald article.

http://calgaryherald.com/sports/hock...velopment-camp

Quote:
Oliver Kylington - Wheaties boss Kelly McCrimmon told the Brandon Sun. “It’s not impossible that he plays in Sweden this year, it’s not impossible that Calgary signs him and he plays in the American Hockey League, and I guess there’s always the possibility that Calgary could sign him, bring him over and find that junior was the right level for the next stage of his development.” … What is known? He’s an exceptional skater.
Quote:
Morgan Klimchuk - Burke describes him as a “surgeon,” meaning quiet, efficient, smart hockey … This past season he picked up 30 points in 27 games for the WHL Regina Pats, the club that snared him fifth overall in the 2010 bantam draft. Mid-season he was shipped eastward to the Wheaties. In 33 games for Brandon, he produced 50 points and a plus-26 rating …
Quote:
Andrew Mangiapane - After an eye-catching walk-on 2013-14 season for coach Dale Hawerchuk and the Barrie Colts netted him 51 points, Mangiapane picked up the offensive pace this past winter. He chugged out 104 points, finishing tied for seventh in Ontario Hockey League scoring. His goal total, 43, was the league’s sixth highest …
Quote:
Mason McDonald - Playing nearly 3,200 minutes this past winter for Charlottetown, he was the fourth busiest goalie in the QMJHL, while facing the third-most shots and making the third-most saves … McDonald’s save percentage, .906, was second-best in the league … But his workhorse season was cut short by a torn medial collateral ligament in the playoffs … McDonald, freshly signed by the Flames, says he’s fully recovered from his knee injury … Already this summer, he’s participated in Hockey Canada’s Program of Excellence for goalies … In August, he’ll be part of the national junior side’s slate of exhibition games against Russia and the Czech Republic at WinSport
Quote:
Mark Jankowski - This past season, he was part of the Friars’ outfit that stunned Boston University to capture the NCAA crown … Taking on a two-way role, he finished the campaign with 27 points in 37 games. “It’s gone well — I’m really happy with this year,” the Dundas, Ont., native said of his 2014-15 season. “My progression — I’m trying to be a great two-way forward, being dependable in the defensive zone.” …

Holy poop Garnet Hathaway is one of the most well-spoken people I've seen, let alone hockey player. Seems like a great character guy to have on a team.

If anybody is going to pull a "Josh Jooris" this season, it will be Hathaway IMO.

-Educsted and well spoken
-One of the fittest players in last year's training camp aside from Gio
-plays like Bouma and even scored 20 goals last year in the A
-2 years of ELC to explpot
-Right handed right wing

Gotta love it.

Rasmus Andersson's entire description of the bike ride cracked me up, from the opening groan to the under the breath "...jesus" at the end.

Seems like a good kid, knows he's got to be in better shape. Seem pretty darn talented too. Moves up the ice with such fluidity.
