I don't want to get too far ahead of myself here, but...
The 2016 playoffs have the potential to be REALLY fun!

			F Yeah!
Hamilton must of seen the direction the Bruins were going and wanted out. Now he gets to play for a winner.

Treliving must have turned on God mode.

The next miracle Brad Treliving's will perform is solving the Greek debt crisis.

No. If you think we fans know more than the folks running these teams, well I don't know what to say to that.

That's not taking anything away from what Treliving has done but it's every year we fans go off on what we think we know is best in terms of player trade values, contract dollars or years or whatever and 99.99% of the time, we're all so far off the mark. We really have no upper hand in knowledge of the inner workings of the NHL.

Just because some fans thinks Hamilton SHOULD make 6.5-7 million a year doesn't make it gospel.

Naw, he'll just get them in a tizzy and trade St. Albert, a canola field and the closed down Cecil hotel for Santorini.

100% Yes! Now the Flames should be able to re-sign both of these players to similar contracts as Hamilton. The Flames might not even have to do the Oiler special to get them signed.

Well, I'll gladly eat some crow. Thought for sure he'd get 7+ on a long term deal. Makes me wonder what really went on with Boston and Hamilton for him to decline basically the same over as we gave him. Perhaps there is something to those reports after all

Thats a million less per year than i thought Hamilton would get. Makes me hopeful in the next couple of years with Gio, Mon, Johhny Hockey and Bennet coming up. Probably should add Hudler to that list, who i thought would be as good as gone after this year. Maybe there will be money for him also.
