that would be a fair assessment of Rinaldo and even to Downie but he's nothing like the other players..

How are they not close? Like those guys, Rinaldo plays pro hockey for one reason, and it's not his goal scoring ability.

The only one who doesn't really belong in that list is Downie.

Are we sure the Oilers did not trade Kevin Lowe to Boston so he become the Consultant of Hockey Operation for the Bruins? I think the Bruins wants Kevin Lowe expertise in going after the first round pick overall.

I love this move! Now people are forgetting what a tire fire my Sharks are... seems like FOREVER ago that Calgary was the league's laughingstock. A lot can happen in two years...

Wouldn't call Rinaldo a goon in the Colton Orr mold. More of a chippy energy player -- runs around and hits a lot of guys, but will back it up with fists if needed.

Definitely don't mind giving him up for a 3rd.

Saw a tweet that said that Ben Bishop had 4 points last year. Rinaldo had 6. Suck it, Bruins!

Yea, I guess you could say he's more of a goon in the Matt Cooke mold.

Its almost not even funny anymore..

Bruins fan or not, that fan base has always been solid, patient and decent. They deserve better. They are not the Oilers, Nucks or Leafs.

What a damn mess and utter shame Sweeney and Neely have created.

^ however it is also the same fan base that wanted blood after they missed the playoffs. Sometimes you get what you ask for, and the devil you do know is better than the devil you don't.

Tell me of any fan base that is happy to miss the playoffs, I will tell you, they aren't real fans.

Of course some changes were needed. They missed the playoffs. But it doesn't change the fact that their fans deserve better.

Haha, I am not going to feel any sympathy for a fan base who's area sports teams have won 9 championships in the last 15 years, including one by the Bruins just 4 years ago.
