Tough to call as I like Man U if they land Hargreaves even though I don't like Hargreaves or the Red Devs much they will be tough. Right now:
Chelsea
Liverpool
Man U
West Ham
My sleeper is a little bold but I think Carlton Cole is going to be really really good and Reo-Coker is a true driving force in the midfield. I dunno if Zamora is that good but I see them top 6 even if beating Arsenal is a little bold. I though Spurs were gonna be wicked but that opener has me backing off a little.
Relegation
Reading
Wigan
Watford

Yeah picked them second assuming they would land Hargreaves or someone similar perhaps. I guess we will have to look at the predictions again in a week and a bit.

I think they're going to be top 4 no matter what but a healthy productive Carrick Hargreaves center mid (supposedly where Hargreaves may be deployed) makes them an entirely different team from Scholes + O'Shea or whatever stopgap is being used.
Have any thoughts on the SPL this year? It looks like it's actually going to be a good race for once.

Is it just me or is Bayern crazy not to sell Hargreaves right now. The guy is a media and english fan darling right now thanks to being the best of the worst of that world cup squad. I mean the guy is a decent midfielder, but id take Scott Parker who is a fairly similiar player, in a second over the guy. With the amount that man u has been rumoured to have offered, id take that money and buy a top quality mid. But hey that just me.
Anyways back to the original topic. Same old same old methinks:
Chelsea
Man United
Liverpool
Arsenal
Relegation:
Sheff United
Fulham
Watford

Ok, even though I'm probably the biggest Liverpool fan you're ever likely to meet and have been for 35 years or so even I can't pick them to oust the Russian team.
Chelski
Liverpool
Man U
Arsenal
Relegation:
Sheff U
Reading
Watford

wow, anyone catch the end of that Boro and Chelsea game??? WOW, I couldnt believe Boro pulled it off. My gut feelin is that Man U is oging to win the title this year, and Im not basing that off Chelsea's loss and United's 2 impressive wins. Nor am I basing it on my like for Cristaino Ronaldo. I just think they have a lot to prove this year and they will pull it off against all odds.

Man U against all odds? Only Chelsea has better odds according to the bookies.

Maybe I exaggerated a bit with the against all odds comment, but I dont think anyone really expects them to win the title and to them its league title or nothing, and with Chelsea being heavy favorite again, I think they are up against it this season, so that was my thinking behind my comment but I will rephrase and say ....against some odds......better??

I wish Sportsnet could show the games a little later in the day - I have a hell of a time getting up to watch any, I think I might have to get Fox Sportsworld this year, and I've heard that Setanta Sports is coming to Canada later this fall too.

I'd like to see another team break the old firm too. Hearts are decent but without Romanov they are still a 10,000-15,000 fans a game club, I think it's gotta be Aberdeen or a united Edinburgh long term to give them any comptetition. Still if even for a season it would be nice to see Hearts win.
