That's who I want. No chance he's there for them in their current slot though.

Winnipeg might be the best team in the leagur in 2018 or so.

At the under 18's yeah, but not in the USHL. I've been watching vid since I really got a bead on how good he should be and it backs up the numbers. Dude should be a can't miss pick and a good choice 5-7 spots EARLIER than he went. At 17? No brainer.

Chabot's a good pick.
Another good D who's still around is Nicolas Meloche. Under the radar a bit but a fantastic prospect.

Bit surprised. I thought Merkley for sure. But Chabot is a good, safe pick.

No interest in Kylington. Hockey sense and attitude is questionable

We're now in the late first... in my view, in terms of draft philosophy, this is where you swing for the fences and try to draft your Corey Perry or Claude Giroux. Boom or bust type of guy.

My day would be complete if Treliving could make a sweet deal for a late round pick and nab Boeser. Won't happen, but fun to dream.

In my view, questionable hockey sense = do not draft.

Chabot was their guy.. name stitched into the jersey. Good job Ottawa sticking to your guns regardless of that craziness that happened a few picks ahead.
