I looked at my TV guide and didn't see anything (ditto when looking on their website at the tv listings). Are you talking radio or TV?

had to judge euro stats sometimes. probably because he was a 17 year old playing in a men's league. so he probably got zero power play time and a checking line role. the kids who actually score a lot in sweden's top league in their draft year are exceptions (see Sedins, E Lindholm)

The SHL is a very high level of play, and he might not have been getting much more than spot minutes. at the SuperElit level his numbers are a good bit higher than Kylington (42 pts in 31 games VS 12 pts in 16 games)

alright I guess I've got as good a handle on the draft as I'm going to get. here's who I like!
I am assuming the following guys will go top 8-10 and we'll have no chance at them: McDavid, Eichel, Hanifin, Marner, Provorov, Strome and Werenski.
Guys I would trade up for: Rantanen, Zacha, Crouse, Connor
Guys I would take at 15: Barzal, Meier, Boeser, Svechnikov, Merkley, Konecny, Bittner, White or Eriksson-Ek
lots of options! I'd be pretty shocked if we took a dman. sounds like it drops off after the first three and that a forward will most likely be best player available in the 11-15 range

Otherwise NHL has it listed on NHL Network and TVA Sports

Not sure why you think that. He's got everything we need. Size, physicality, skill and skating. He's a power forward, one of the rarest and most valuable commodities in the NHL. He sounds very much like a Lucic type.
Why wouldn't anyone like this kid? So what if he only has 2nd line skills? His size and physical game would make more room for guys like Hudler, Johnny, etc. So important to have those big, unstoppable wingers for the playoffs. Crouse would be an amazing fit for us IMO. Imagine having Crouse on the 2nd line, Ferland on the 3rd and Bouma on the 4th. Defensemen would be scared to go get the puck. Drool. Line after line of big physical wingers that are hard to handle. That's something we need.

doesn't mean it's right. Sportsnet signed this huge deal to be the go to guys when it comes to hockey coverage. Their quality is pretty bad, you'd think they'd make it up with quantity.

No but at the time TSN had two channels. Sportsnet has like 75. It's mostly an annoyance because it was previously listed.
Hopefully NHL.com streams it.

People with similar size and similar junior numbers only go on to success (by which I mean playing 200 NHL games) 19.5% of the time with respect to his 2014 season, and 29% of the time with respect to his 2015 season.
Of those comparable players who DID go on to play 200 games, they averaged between 35 and 37 points per 82 games played.
You never know, because he has the tools, but based on his track record he is just a bad bet in the top 10. However, there are good reasons to think his junior numbers are under-representative of his talent (most of which are related to how terrible the Frontenacs were), so a mid first round selection or later I think could be a decent gamble. But there will probably be other guys available who would be better ones at 15. Thankfully, some neanderthal GM is going to say "KIDS GOT SIZE" and take him before then, so it's likely a moot point.

Hard to use historical numbers as predictors. He likely would've had WAY more points had Bennett been centering him all year instead of just the last few weeks.
Can't teach size. And assuming you were watching the playoffs you'd know size does matter. I'm not saying lets grab all the unskilled big guys. But big guys with skating, skill and physical play? I'm down to trade up for those types of players.

Why on Earth would you think it's hard to use historical numbers as predictors? That's literally the only thing you CAN reasonably use as a predictor.

You draft players based on having professional scouts watch them and project how good they'll be in the NHL in a few years. That is a much, much better predictor than your stats.
Crouse will be drafted based on scouting. Not on stat crunching of his numbers.
