Default Terrorist attack in France, Tunisia, and Kuwait *Updated*

1 dead by decapitation, 2 injured so far, you can watch live coverage on Sky News

France

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-33284937

Quote:
A man has been beheaded and at least one other person injured in a suspected Islamist attack on a gas factory near the French city of Lyon.
There were several small explosions, possibly caused by gas canisters, at the Air Products factory in Saint-Quentin-Fallavier, sources said.
A man has been arrested by anti-terror police, officials say.
Reports suggest two attackers drove into the factory carrying a flag with Arabic writing on it.
French President Francois Hollande will leave the EU summit in Brussels this afternoon and return to France. He is expected to give a news conference before travelling.
Edit, add Tunisia to this as well, same youtube video above is covering this:

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-33287978

Quote:
At least 19 people have been killed in an attack on a tourist hotel in the Tunisian resort town of Sousse, according to the interior ministry.
At least one gunman has been shot dead and another is being pursued, officials say.
Sousse is a popular tourist destination.
Tunisia has been on high alert since March when militants killed 22 people, mainly foreign tourists, in an attack on a museum in the capital Tunis.
The interior ministry told the BBC "a terrorist attack" was ongoing.
Kuwait

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-middle-east-33287136

Quote:
The death toll from a suicide attack on a Shia mosque during Friday prayers in the Kuwaiti capital has risen to at least 25, the interior ministry says.
Another 202 people were wounded, it added. Images circulating online show bodies on the mosque floor amid debris.
The blast hit the Imam Sadiq Mosque in a busy area to the east of Kuwait City.
An Islamic State- (IS) affiliated group said it was behind the attack. IS has carried out similar recent attacks in neighbouring Saudi Arabia and Yemen.

Maybe he wanted to blow it up, could be a massive explosion if he did it right.

Wait what?

I thought is was initially thought to be an ISIS attack, or at least framed that way.

At least 27 dead, one gunman dead and one still on the loose

A popular tourist destination on Tunisia's northeast coast came under attack Friday, with gunmen exchanging fire with police and at least 27 people killed, according to the Interior Ministry.

The gunmen opened fire near hotels in the resort town of Sousse.

Interior Ministry Spokesman Mohammed Ali Aroui confirmed the fatalities, and said one of the gunmen was killed and police were pursuing another.

Photos of an alleged suspect dead at the scene and various pictures posted by people saying they had barricaded themselves inside hotel rooms in the area surfaced on social media

Your complete ignorance suggests that you shouldn't be making posts in this thread, or any like it. Do you realize that Hamas and the Islamic State (supporters or members most likely to be behind these attacks) are competing militant factions, and members of ISIS probably have little to no interest in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict? Better quit now before you call Pakistanis Arabs or something...

So now that we have 3 separate attacks, we must consider this to be a planned attack, I wonder if more are on there way.

I hope not... does today hold any significance? Or is it just the IS being dicks.

Maybe in terms of the date, but I don't see anything beyond that.

It doesn't take much to email three different groups of fanatics and make the suggestion that June 25th would be a good die to do something.

But ISIS isn't Al-Queda where they basically have a financing and planning division.

The fact that all of this is during Ramadan too, holiest month for Muslims. Unthinkable.

See, I have such a positive mindset that I truly believe this is satire, because the entire premise and statement is so ridiculous that I can't imagine it being anything but.

I am curious - why is the Conservatives' unbridled support for Israel not reason for resentment from the Islamic world and a possible threat to our national security?

First of all, because you are making the assumption that the Islamic world operates like this. Did evangelicals in the southern US feel vilified during the child abuse crisis in the Catholic church a few years ago? Hardly. They were joining in with everyone else in the criticism and felt no remorse or brotherhood with the Catholics. Yes, an unusual comparison, but the point is you are dealing with a religion of over 1 billion, and there really isn't a unified body/brotherhood like you think. For God's sake, one of the targets today was a mosque! IS competes with Hamas and would gladly take the region from them and Israel if they could. I am not saying IS doesn't hold an incredible amount of resentment and hatred for Israel, but it has little to with with the Israeli-Palestinian situation.

Next, do you honestly think these attacks wouldn't happen today, exactly as they did, if there was a somewhat anti-Israeli government in Canada? That is laughable.
