"kick tires" is becoming as reliable as Eklund. Any gm doing their job is kicking tires, checking alignment, and topping up tire pressure.

... ill see myself out.

Kylingtons Raw talent has me hoping the Flames risk the 15th pick for him. I suspect greatly his back injury screwed his draft year up. If Huska is a professor of defense and helped produce such lofty talent in the WHL, No reason he cannot get Kylington into shape defensively. That Skill. Incredibly tough to pass on.

Kurtz is riffing on the mackenzie comment about someone in top 10.

I think it's too big of a risk unfortunately. I still hope we either trade up or hope one of the top 10-12 players fall to 15th.

I was just browsing bodog and they obviously have some NHL Draft odds. There were two that kind of struck me as easy money.

First they have the over/under at 5.5 of how many team representatives will congratulate the Hawks on winning the cup. I think it's pretty safe to say that at least 6

The second one isn't as safe of a bet, but is still a good one. It has the over/under at 14.5 of teams that will thank Florida for hosting the event. I think it's pretty safe that 15/24 teams picking in the first round will do so. Typically most teams do right?

Just letting you guys know, in case you want to make some seemingly easy money.

A good prop bet would be to see if Tim Murray says anything aside from "Buffalo Picks Jack Eichel" and walks away like a boss. a very grumpy man with RBF just staring blankly into the camera as he walks to the interviewing area.

"Back injury", now I definitely don't want him.

Kevin Kurz @KKurzCSN
One guy on #SJSharks radar is RW Mikko Rantanen. Spoke with team at combine, and will again tomorrow

Sam Carchidi @BroadStBull
Rantanen had his 2d interview with #Flyers today and said he can't wait until the draft gets here because he is ready to start his career.

Sounds like Toronto will take Larsson

Tom Gulitti @TGfireandice
Swedish D Jacob Larsson said he's met with Toronto four times (including in Sweden and at combine). Possible late 1st rd pick.

Sportsnet 960: Treliving says nothing at all remotely close to a deal where the Flames would move up from 15.

I'm still hoping for OK (Kylington), but lots of appealing Fwd options available.....just hope they pick someone with top end potential and not just a safe 3rd line type player. Swing for the fences.

Friedman says he is hearing Strome will fall and that is a major reason Arizona is considering trading down.

So is he implying that Arizona thinks they can move down and still get Strome?

Would believe so, I read that if Columbus can get 3 they are taking Hanifin, Leafs are high on Marner

Leafs would still take Marner over Strome? Crazy. And then Carolina would? Philly? New Jersey? Man, insane.
