Big congrats! By all accounts he had to really reinvent himself as a coach over the past 10 years. And he has done such a great job endearing himself to the fans, media and most important the players. Just shows some phenomenal growth and the results speak for themselves.
Ryan Lambert from Puck Daddy doesn't seem to agree with Hartley winning. What a clown-

Bob Hartley won the Jack Adams hahaha oh my god who votes for this garbage?
Oh right, it's the broadcasters. Well for the second year in a row they got this one flat-out, 100-percent, no-doubt-about-it wrong.
Patrick Roy last year, Hartley this year. Let's just all agree we'll give it to the coach with the worst team that PDOs its way into the playoffs every year forever now. What did Hartley do to turn the Flames around? Had them shoot like 10 percent. Wow great coaching, Bob. I guess he will go back to being a bad coach when the Flames only shoot 8 percent next year.
But hey, one broadcaster thought Randy Carlyle was the third-best coach in the league this year. And Ted Nolan won this thing once. So I guess they'll give it to literally anyone.
I used to wonder how Spector had a job writing, but to his credit he has improved drastically. By golly though, who the heck employs Ryan Lambert? What a joke.
yikes, it's so painfully obvious that he's got something personal against the flames, really childish that this keeps going. It would be like if i got a job as a hockey journalist and just continued my blatant bias against the canucks.
he STILL writes articles for Flames Nation. and we STILL keep linking to all his trolly articles, ensuring that his never-ending stream of typographical feces continues to flow...
Much like with the Gaudreau thread fun to look back at the Hartley thread from when he was hired, CP was surprisingly positive with the hire looking back.
And Robo absolutely nailed it.

Iginla's career shooting percentage is 13.3%, but mind you that's only over a tiny sample size of about 1400 games, so obviously unsustainable. So expect that shooting percentage to fall back down to about 8% very soon.
-Lambert.

A blog.
Lambert is a troll. But the problem is, people keep reading him, people keep linking him, people keep giving his employer revenue by reading and linking to him, and he now has a bunch of people here making the topic about Lambert and not about Hartley. Lambert is getting exactly what he wants.
The solution to Lambert is to just stop posting his ramblings.
