I wouldn't be surprised if he's the guy the Flames pick at 15 providing someone like Barzal doesn't slip to them. He's a right shooting goal scorer which is an organizational need.
The more I read about this kid, the more it seems like he fits the Flames needs perfectly!
Size, speed, skill, leadership, character and finish. Wouldn't be disappointed to see us trade down and grab him at all.
Trade down? You'd have to feel pretty certain that he would still be available in whatever spot you trade down to. Risky, as Boeser also thinks he had a great interview with Winnipeg, a couple spots behind us (and I think there's a fit there--as I evidenced by my selection of Boeser for the Jets in the CP mock draft!).
I think if management feels he's our guy, he might be taken at 15.

Crouse, Barzal, Meier, Connor, Konecny, Merkley, Svechnikov, and now Boeser are all names that have popped up that we have realistically hoped drop to the Flames...and that doesn't even include all the talk of needing a d-man that happened earlier in this thread.

Yup and that's why people shouldn't get tunnel vision about one prospect or another. That's setting yourself up for disappointment.
So many good potential picks. So long as it isn't a goalie, I can't see how I would be disappointed. Boeser, Konecny, Merkley are not my top choices, but they are growing on me.

Exactly. There are so many good players I doubt I will be disappointed unless they select someone that hasn't really been discussed but I don't see how that is possible really. There are players I'd prefer but I doubt I will be disappointed since we will get a good player.
