I've switched to the 2.0 Beta and I'm liking it. (I'd like it even better if Noia was switched to 2.0 (and yes, I know about the test tools)).

I really like the spell checker, and the better search engine integration is great. It's going to take a while to get used to "Add-ons"

That's just a website with a bunch of web broswers listed (including FireFox, rather prominently as well). Not to mention all of the annoying pop up ads as well....

Wow, just imagine if those evil aliens in Independance Day had used firefox instead of windows. The virus wouldn't have worked and they would have conquored the world. Sure firefox sounds like a good thing, but windows and all of its vulnerability saved the world guys. Remember that next time you start bashing microsoft.

Hmm, it is still IE, just with a lighter shell. All the vulnerabilities are still there. But if it's what you like, fine.

Except the aliens used Macs, and we know this because Jeff Golblum used one to interface with the aliens.

So in reality is was because the aliens said "We use a Mac because there are no viruses for Mac" that proved to be their downfall. Unlike Windows users they weren't prepared for how to handle a virus.

I use FireFox on PC's as my first choice. It's 2nd choice on my Mac as the Safari browser is far faster. However it can't run some websites I need (namely my school website to register for courses) so I still do use FireFox at times on my Mac.

Actually this was pre OS X days and there were viruses (a couple) for classic Mac OS. Jeff Goldblum would have known this as he used to do commercials for Apple.
