With oddly being flush with centers, I actually needed a higher end Right Winger. Marleau fits the bill. They are both rated similarly and have the same age/contract.

That will allow me to move Eakin off the wing to utilize his high faceoff rating and move everyone else down a spot.

I meant duration, Marleau makes 1 mil more each of the two years, so he pays the same this year and I pay more next.

Tampa make this deal because Sedin is a year younger and next year is $1 million cheaper as we only sent cap for this year.

I don't expect him to be on the roster for long. I think he is a more tradable asset as well

I don't see Marleau on my team for the entire season either.
