Its very odd, in Iceland we've had a huge jump in the polls for the Pirate party. Its a party led by one of the wikileaks people Birgitte, and is attracting youths in droves, it as it stands has 35% of the popular vote 2yrs out from the national elections.

The neat thing is it refused to take a label of right or left party, and has attracted significant numbers of people from all the other parties, including right wing and left wing.
Its succeeding on one key front, accountability and transparency in government. They are slaughtering people in discussions on social media and this next election if the polls are even remotely close to these numbers would mean a shocking sea change in Iceland.
Its an exciting time in Iceland, to be a pirate party member
