MS said holiday 2015 for backwards compatibility launch, its clearly in preview state.
I'm not sure how that's any different from Playstation phasing in games on PS Now.
Its pretty fantastic they are going to be able to pull it off at all, it seemed like there was no way it would happen.
The internet -- cool things get announced, people whine.
I think PS Now is kind of lame too -- I'm not sure why everyone cares so much about backwards compatibility. There's more games coming out on PS4/One this year then anyone could ever keep up with, who's bothering with old stuff if they have one of the new platforms?
One generation of consoles did it and now everyone feels entitled to it.
Being able to play old games on your new console is a "cool thing"?
How is it not? Just because you may have played every game on previous gen doesn't mean everyone has. There's a lot of quality in the previously existing library.

How is it not? Just because you may have played every game on previous gen doesn't mean everyone has. There's a lot of quality in the previously existing library.
I haven't played every game. My PS3 and Xbox 360 still work just fine though so backwards compatibility means nothing to me.

Sure. And I'd rather not have numerous systems under my TV and numerous controllers kicking around and still have access to great content from the previous gen.

Sure. And I'd rather not have numerous systems under my TV and numerous controllers kicking around and still have access to great content from the previous gen.
its not a bad thing but I think the hype is kinda ridiculous and its being spun as BC which its not. Just surprised people are talking about this above
