I tend to be terrible against live opposition as well. Just don't have the time to play online and learn a different set of tricks. Which is why a good, deep single person portion of a game is required for me to shell out full price money.
Finally got to fire the game for a bit tonight. First impression, this is not NHL 15. Has loads to do and just oozes polish.
Presentation in this game is incredible, the attention to detail in the commentary, the stadiums, crowds, and the sound is outstanding.
Look forward to sinking some time into this game.

Get ready to be equal parts annoyed and excited. I haven't played my Serie A manager mode since Feb, but I may do it now.
EVery may 1st your youth academy players get a bump in overall stats. the thinking before was always to let your player get to may 1st if you can to get them a bump. always been the case.
It's been often cited and bitched about in fifa 15 that youth players tend not to grow physically. Speed, acceleration, endurance, etc.
Well... now we know why. If your youth acamedy players makes it to even one single may update, they will never grow physically again.
What does this mean? For most positions, you'll want to sign a player to your squad if you can. Especially players who need high speed. Sometimes though you may not need it. Goalkeepers for instance show no reason to sign early. Let them get the may update bump.
For strikers, midfielders that are speedy... basically any outfielder... you'll wanna sign them and get them off your youth squad before the may update. even if you think they have ok physical stats be aware that you are ######ing their growth. Stamina is important. If your youth has semi decent stamina already, and semi decent physical stats, sure, let them get a bump.Thing is though think of where those stats will go if you let them grow.
I can't wait to start a new manager mode but I'm also super pissed @ how lazy EA is that this was allowed to go.
