Didn't mean to go MIA there - my tapatalk is acting up, but I am home now.

Bizaro - I think he thinks he's a bit more clever than he is. I feel like he thinks he is picks up on certain things and wants to show how smart he is for finding that. However, his reasoning tends not to be overly strong. I put in my "I don't know" category.
Devo - Also in the "I don't know". He seems to be waiting later to vote and not make waves. However, when the vote comes down, it seems reasonable and usually has some decent backing to it. I also prefer to wait until later to vote, so I can't knock him for that. Easier to blend, but also easier to make the right decision with the vote.

If I end up going down, I would put pressure on Squiggs tomorrow. However, having mrkajz44 escape lynch narrowly again may be a good scum indicator. PE was also squirming under pressure the way I would squirm as a mafia player (a million words per post).
For later in the game I would also consider Peanut as a sleeper host. She is like that sexy betch who was the first mole in Anderson Cooper's Mole game show. No one suspected her until it was all over.
|
Fully aware I'm close to getting the lynch, so I know this might be taken with a grain of salt, but I don't like the late vote here by Starseed to try and save himself. I don't see much reasoning for this vote, other than suddenly he is in danger. It's either super greedy town, or scum trying to save himself.

Maybe it's a bad precedent to start, but I believe mrk's death post. If he's town I don't want to lynch him. If he's a host then I'll take the risk of looking stupid. At this point I feel the best move for the town is voting starseed. I wanted to vote for him earlier so this makes it easier for me.
|
Was hoping Squiggs would have answered this but I think this statement feels like he knows the outcome. He also just generally believes Mrkajz's statement without saying why.
Why does town Squiggs do this? He believes mrkajz
Why does scum squigs do this. We have two townies as front runners and he is looking for town cred with the unvote if we lynch mr Kajz and setting up the second lynch for tomorrow if we lynch Starseed. And getting Starseed today while he's getting his bearings is a win for scum before he is fully engaged.

The correct play is always to save yourself regardless of allignment. You know that you town so eliminating anyone outside of pux is better than yourself. As scum you want to save yourself.
How is voting in self preservation allignment indicative.

(Underlined and italic) This could be something or nothing I do not recall this being said by HG15. Could be he is getting what was said in two forums confused. Which would mean HG is scum.
Or he just couldn't find it in the abundance of HG15's posts.

It's the latter. Have you ever tried to sift through hg15's posts?

That's why you were wrong on day 2 and you're wrong now. Lynching the reciever is the way to go.
As for this week being the new normal for me, I suppose that would be true if my internet goes down again, I go to another world cup game, and then I pick up another case of what I suspect is food poisoning.

^voting for you, mrkaj, is a heck of a lot smarter for the town than just allowing myself to get voted out (from my perspective).
With the pressure of the looming deadline, I think I would switch back to PE or to Squiggs if there are enough votes. Mrkaj is probably third on my list right now.

Obviously we have different view on this. Voting for self preservation if you are town is not a great move in my opinion, as it suddenly puts you in the scummy spotlight starting the next day. It will be talked about and likely become a distraction. You will likely spend the day defending yourself and not hunt scum.
Unless he is super sure I am scum, then I don't like the play. And the fact that he opened his voting post with "I am a front runner", just seems like self preservation, where he is on the fence about me. Otherwise, the post would have been geared as "mr k was high on my list and I think my vote is best used there as I think he is scum." But it wasn't.
Who cares most about self-preservation? Scum do.

Now your just being obtuse. If you think the probability of host is greater than being unturned you lynch the reciever provided you believe the agent is unturned. That's it. But we can discuss that tomorrow.
You still have provided no thoughts on the leaders.

Lol, I've noticed a lot lately on cp that calling someone obtuse is usually met with a shawshank rebuttal.

At best if your honest your best suspect is no better than 50/50. Your most sure town 95%. Either way you are better lynching other than lynching yourself. Your logic also assumes that people find voting for self preservation scummy which is circular logic.
Self preservation of playing not to get lynched in your posting is scummy but at lynch when it is a choice between to is just good play but we can leave it at agree to disagree.
