FC Barcelona win Copa del Rey 3-1 vs Bilbao, making next week's CL final that much more interesting with both teams going for the treble. Messi's goal to open the match was a thing of beauty. One of the best goals I've seen him score.

Bahahahaha!!!! Thought the same thing when I saw him walk out of the tunnel. He's definitely one of the players with a more eccentric sense of style.

Here's a better video with the build up play in English commentary.

Motherwell 3 - Newco 0. 6-1 aggregate. Motherwell stays in the Premiership, the other team with another year, at least,in the Championship.

And this is the stuff SPL teams don't have to deal with next year, after a typical post match show of bad sportsmanship kicks off a post match dust up:

https://vine.co/v/ehhBlmEImui

Lee Erwin confirming post-match: "I tried to shake his hand (Mohsni's) and he's turned and told me to F-off. I reacted badly and pushed him in the back, I shouldn't have done that, but he should never have reacted like that. It's embarrassing for him and it's embarrassing for the club."

This is likely stemming from their 3rd division roots, and may play well with Morton or Livingston next year.

looks like it's happening. Does United go after Lloris now?

Lloris? Probably.

de Gea? I say sit him for the next year, and show we don't do business with terrorists Real Madrid.

still think it ends up not being Lloris, they dont need to spend 30m on a keeper

I'm all over the map on what United will receive from Madrid. Net-positive would be ideal, with the de Gea buy/sell, and new keeper buy.

Levy won't sell Lloris for cheap, especially to United.

Soooo, there's a few.
Cillassen? Oblak? Begovic? Nardi? Scuffet?

Is United ready to invest another year of growth-pains for a young keeper?
Valdes could provide insurance to that, in the same sense Lindegaard did for de Gea.

I really like Cillassenm, if Lloris somehow goes I hope its him

but I think thats the move for United, buy young cheap and keep Valdes for a year, he's not top 5 in the world no, but he would be top 5 in the prem easy

Yep, I recall you did -- and at the outset of the W.C I knew little about him.

LVG likes him, but also made that miracle move, substituting Krul in for him. So he doesn't the top confidence in him on penalties...

Valdes top 5? Courtois, Cech, Lloris, Hart for sure. Forster, Begovic?
I suppose he's not in the bottom 1/2 at least.

Sounds like de Gea goes for 30m. /SIGH

right now assuming DDG goes I think it's Courtois, Cech, Lloris, Valdes, Begovic, Forster, Hart

outside of Courtois it sort of depends on strengths and weaknesses

Valdes can keep a defense organized and move the ball quickly, but on crosses he might struggle

whereas someone like Forster is probably the exact opposite

Bernd Leno for me. Still only 23 years old and probably the best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga outside of Neuer. If DDG really wants to go, my wish list would be Lloris > Leno > Cech > Valdes. I highly doubt Tottenham will sell Lloris to United, but Leno would be a great choice and realistic target IMO.

I absolutely despise Real Madrid. Now there are media reports in France that they have an agreement with Marco Verratti as well. Can't stand that club one bit.

Chiellini injured for the UCL Final, a huge blow to Juve.

No reports of Suarez being spotted near the Juve training ground.

$%&@#......brutal. Hope Juve can still pull this off. Would be a huge catalyst for Italian soccer if they can capture the CL.
