That's about the only place that makes sense for Radulov. The mutual admiration between him and Roy is the only thing that makes it work.
If he plays to potential under Roy, he'll be a PITA for us next season.

Chris Nichols @NicholsOnHockey
LeBrun: Sources say #Sens have firm trade offers on Lehner. #Oilers, #SJSharks are believed to be among teams that have expressed interest.

Lehner seems like he's gotten worse every year for a few years now. Still young though, maybe he can turn it around?

Lets hope Treliving and Co. are smart enough to steer clear of Nash.

I'd like Nash if he was free but that isn't likely to happen. Someone will make a significant offer for him.

TSN Insider trading (besides the Nash and goalie stuff mentioned previously)
Boudreau will be back next season
Bruins expected to announce Julien will be back for next season
Hamilton is looking for Doughty and Pietrangelo money. Might be poster child for RFA Offer sheet

Smart enough because why?
Seems like this could be a good chance at our "Hossa." 30 year old 6'4" powerforward with 3 years left at 8 mil. This is no Bobby Ryan, Phil Kessel style flawed player. Nash is the real deal.

Yeah, I'd take Nash in the right trade. Unfortunately, some other team is likely to outbid us and it's best not to get in a bidding war for a 30 year old winger when you're rebuilding.

Bobby Ryan and Phil Kessel both have more goals in the playoffs than Nash in half the amount of games... plus they're younger.

I would be okay with Nash if the price wasn't unreasonable.
I don't think the rangers are desperate enough to give him up for what we should be willing to pay though.

Poor guys. They probably read this stuff and it ruins what would have otherwise been a nice, relaxing day in June.

He may score at a 40 goal pace in the reg season but he has scored at ~10 goal pace in his career in the post season. I think he is vastly overrated and paid too much for 3 more years.
Plus it would cost an arm and a leg to get him.

NHLPA met this week, and it sounds like the players, after crunching the numbers, will consider using their full 5% growth factor.
Elliotte Friedman @FriedgeHNIC 11m11 minutes ago
That's not a guarantee, but it is a positive shift from what they were thinking. If that happens, cap probably comes in a little over $71M
Thats a bit more wiggle room if they go the full cap growth for a few cap jail eams, they'll still need to move some money but not fire sale get ripped off kind of trades.
Offer sheets will probably b a poor choice now too.

The players have used their inflator every chance they have gotten haven't they?
It seems like I hear it every season.

They have, but the dissenting players don't like it because using the inflator means higher escrow payments.

Rick Nash is not a power forward. He's softer than a basket of puppies.

its so tough with goalies... Bishop went from StL to Ottawa to TB before finally turning it around... drafted in 2005!
if they aren't asking a king's ransom, guys like Lehner aren't bad to roll the dice on...
