I have been on holidays and have finally had a chance to play today. Had some fun. Just a few quick questions
1. Do we have to farm keys so we can open the chests from the prison of elders.
2. Queens bounties where do you find them?
You can farm keys, but you don't have you.
The way I understand it, you're guaranteed at least one key/week, although I'm not sure where it comes from. Might be that you need to run 28 PoE, and it'll be in one of the two small chests.
The queens's bounties should say where to look in the description of each bounty. I had to look up where some areas were, because I didn't know them by name though. Or are you asking where to get the bounties themselves? Those come through Petra in the reef.

The Following User Says Thank You to Mass_nerder For This Useful Post:
So finally got a couple of my buddies together last night for Trials. Everything was going swimmingly, and we were sitting at 5-0 record, and up 4-0 in game 6. Then one of the guys on the other team starts lagging, and none of us could hit him. They took 5 straight rounds and we lose.
Come to find out its called "lag switching" and is actually pretty common. Anyways, pretty frustrating stuff, because we were well on our way to a flawless victory. Ended up finishing at 8-2 (lost the match right after the lag switching because we were flustered), so I got the max loot I could this week without the 9-0 chest.
Would have liked to get to 9-0, but c'est la vie. Managed to hit 34 and ascended my Fatebringer, so it all worked out I suppose.

So Nham... since you did the 9-0 thing, how about bringing along a fellow guardian. Not so concerned about going 9-0, but would be cool to maybe get the gold package
As long as you're not expecting too much haha. I can't quite carry the same in Skirmish the same way I might in Control sometimes.
Finished with 3 flawless passages. Got the pulse rifle twice and auto rifle once. Still hunting for the scout rifle mostly. Apparently you're able to inspect the opponent you've been match made with and quit before the game starts. Thought our flawless streak might be broken by high level/grimoire team with the worst weapons to deal with but they ended up quitting instead.
What would you say the best primary legendary weapon is for PVP? (I'd like to start using an exotic heavy when possible, and would like to roll with a good primary while I don't have Thorn/Red Death equipped.
My initial thoughts are going with the Red Hand IX, and reforging to try and get outlaw / LiTC, but would be open to grabbing a pulse rifle or scout rifle if it makes sense.
Going 9-0 and getting a ToO weapon is an option as well.
Anyways, thoughts?

I like red hand ix, although I have the pre-how version, so I can't reforge. Her mercy, the queens hand cannon has very similar stats, but it can be reforged, so that might be a better option?

Not really. It's incredibly fun to pass off people with the fastest full auto firing and explosive rounds but even you land headshot after headshot one of two things will happen:
1) You die first
2) Somebody with a higher impact weapon takes the kill.
Not to mention the stability is horrible to keep up with its RoF.
Best choices aside from the ToO weapons (pulse/scout rifle) would be the aforementioned Red Hand, The Stranger's Rifle for general Crucible (not iron banner/ToO), as well as any high impact pulse rifle like Spare Change. Most guns cam be rerolled into being a usable primary but the Red Hand has some of the best base stats, lacking only range and a little reload speed.
What are your pre-How perks?
Spray and play, perfect balance/single-point sling/send it, grenadier.
Overall it's a pretty good roll. Spray and play boosts the reload and I usually use send it for good range. I would love to have Zen moment instead of grenadier.
The Her mercy I have is very similar, but it has less stability and slightly slower reload, but I reforged for Zen moment, flared magwell/high calibre rounds/rifled barrel, outlaw.
I'll probably end up giving that a whirl in crucible.

Thanks for all the responses guys.
Funny enough, as I was considering buying the Red Hand, I played a few crucible games to get the dailies done. Ended up getting The Fulcrum, which appears to have comparable stats to Red Hand. Re-rolled it and ended up with melee hits can refill the weapon + LiTC + the increased range / stability decreased magazine perk.
7 round magazine with LiTC will be deadly I think. Gun hits for 86 on normal headshots. With LiTC that should be a 2 shot kill I would think.

Hmmm. Wondering if it is worth it to reforge again to try for Last Round + LiTC. An RNG blessing on the final shot would make for a one shot kill.

That's a pretty decent roll for the Red Hand for sure. Since you'll mostly be running your primary, you'll get a chance to take advantage of Grenadier often. Spray and Play helps with the slower reload speed and you do have the flexibility of Send It/Perfect balance. You've got the read idea though covering the weakness of range instead.

If you do, aim for Smallbore in the middle tree, 3rd perk. You're basically chasing for the moon at this point but it'd be pretty neat to have a mock Hawkmoon.
Another Friday, another Trials run. There's something satisfying and particularly insulting about finishing a team off with shoulder charge. Even got somebody to rage quit as well.

That's my issue. I'm sitting on small bore and litc. First perk is all that's missing.

I saved my weapon core from this week's 34 since I rarely use fusion rifles, so I think I might try judgement's chance next week.

I'm pretty disappointed with the way the PoE armor looks, but even more disappointed with all the armor stats...who needs that much strength? Does anyone know if judgement chance armor can roll with intellect or discipline?
I think I'll be working on ascending all the new vanguard/crucible armor instead.
