That's too obvious. I wasn't worried because I have no reason to save myself.

hockeyguy15, why don't you have the agent investigate Oling? He had the spore first.

the risk of losing a town member aside, is there another downside to letting the agent investigate one of Oling and GirlySports and we lynch the other? Wouldn't that give us a 100 percent chance of getting rid of the turned players (if there are any) at this point?

Here is what Mazrim said.

If the holder of the spore is killed, it will return to the Captain, but he must kill a turned player for this to happen. Otherwise he must wait a full day to regain the spore.

It says killed, not lynched. Maybe the Agents kill happens before the spore is passed?

If I was turned it was a pretty bad move as I make myself a very obvious target to the Government Agent

If I wasn't telling the truth, which I am, it would be more Host-like than Turned-like in my opinion.

Actually I'm not sure how the Government Agent works with the spore carrier. If he/she could check GirlySports and take out the Spore if she is turned that would be fantastic, but I think GirlySports gets to move the spore no matter what.

Unless the agent returns the false positive, which would mean one of them was scum, right? And then lynching the other would potentially lead to losing another town. Or possibly lynching a turned. But the false positive result could lead to us not lynching a scum.

Because you've clearly turned, so we know that you will be dead after you're investigated. After that if we have nothing else to go on they can look at Oling.

that'a how I'm reading it:

Because his skill takes place before the spore turns a player, targeting the person receiving the spore will always fail unless they were already turned.

it says "before the spore TURNS a player", but my interpretation would be that the spore passing and finding out whether a player turns or not happen simultaneously. Could be wrong though.

Well Oling has spoken and the town wants information. Here it is.

Oling had the spore and was not turned. He's given it to me and I have not been turned. I won't know this for a fact until the end of Day 2 which is when I assume Oling found out (end of Day 1)

So we have two confirmed townies. Armed with that information, you guys should be digging the others. 3/14 are scum.

Why did it take so long for you to say I didn't turn. After Oling said he gave you the spore you made a whole post without mentioning you didn't turn.

Doesn't seem very likely. First words out of my mouth would be that I didn't turn.

Wasn't 100% sure of Oling's confession right away. Because I still am not a fan of revealing the direction of the spore.

However, His 2nd post which I quote above convinced me and if that's the direction we're going. I have to give out the information now.

so you don't know yet if you actually have turned? Are just assuming that you didn't turn at this point? If you don't know for a fact if you have turned or not, then why do you claim that we have two confirmed townies?

Just had to think about it. If I felt that Oling has been turned or is lying, I could have thought of a way to expose that.

But it was short-lived so you have all the information now.
