I suggest we be a little more proactive this time. I'm not saying we have to lynch before the deadline, but leaving it so late gives us very little time to react to deathbed posts if we need to.

Anyone willing to say who they passed the spore to? If you tell us you're either a passenger or a host making a false claim. If you're a passenger you have nothing to hide, so please speak up.

Leaving breadcrumbs (or loaves) for others to pick up with a couple hours left to the lynch doesn't quite make sense.
I also don't agree with how SebC didn't want to "pull that thread" when he's so near the lynch.

Option A) He might be smuggler, lynch anyway.
(Timbo and Hockeyguy15 seemed to think this wasn't bad.)
Option B) He might be smuggler, see if we can make him reveal more (what exactly would you get, on day 1?)
(Oling_Roachinen wanted to "pull the thread", thanked by Hockeyguy15.)
Option C) He might be smuggler, vote for someone else, and hope that the mafia didn't pick up on the reveal.
(SebC did this.)
Just saying.

Late lynch wasn't the problem. Wrong lynch was the problem.

The problem was that we didn't have enough time to properly shift the vote to someone else. I asked Girly if she had anything to say and didn't give us anything to sway votes onto her or off her. To switch votes off activeStick and GirlySports at that point we risked not getting a lynch at all.
If we had more time we could have planned what to do instead of frantically trying to figure out what to do with hardly any time left. When you scramble is when you make mistakes, and that's exactly what happened.

All is not lost, we still have the numbers. As for someone telling us they passed the spore on, if they are infected why would they do that? Their end game goal will now be different. If they were not infected and told us how could we trust that they are being honest? Things are gonna get dicey, that's for sure.

A) we can still win without the smuggler. Is it ideal? Not at all.
B) we could get a "yes I am the smuggler, don't lynch me." A definitive answer, not a fly by "is there a downside to the smuggler revealing?"
C) you also then run the risk of lynching another of our power roles, after outing the smuggler. The damage has been done, but it could have been worse in this scenario.

At the point where he had enough votes to be lynched Activestick should have revealed his role.

Yeah if they are infected we won't hear a peep.
Like I said a couple posts ago, if they tell us they are either a passenger or a host making a false claim.

So do we start taking a harder look at how the voting went there? You would have to think at least one scum voted for Activestick. Maybe had the others vote elsewhere so they are not all grouped together? Still damn hard at this stage to get a read though.

I cast my vote at 7:25 PM. There were two hours where any of six people (including yourself) could have changed it from 6-5 Activestick to 6-5 GirlySports, before GGG made it 7-5 Activestick at 9:27 PM.
That keeps 6 votes on someone, so we are never in a no-lynch scenario. And what would've been so wrong with voting out GirlySports?

You're assuming no one else changes their vote. There are 3 hosts that could pull votes and drop you below the 6 needed votes to get a deadline lynch.

Outing the smuggler and lynching another power role was less probable than outing the smuggler and lynching scum. Expected value was positive.

Nothing, except it is still a crapshoot. We took a shot and missed, it happens a lot in this game. Activestick should have defended himself and role revealed or at least put up an argument, he let his fellow passengers down. Back to the drawing board

Missed the last part about what was wrong with voting for GirlySports. I wasn't convinced activeStick was actually the smuggler and that it possibly was a fake claim by a host or infected. The casual nature of his comment and subsequent leaving didn't make me think he was being truthful in his claim.

You would rather no lynch? Newsflash, the passengers cannot survive without lynches.

Maybe you should be more clear and less cryptic next time then, maybe you will have more success convincing me to switch my vote.
